Whitney Port

^ I almost feel kind of sorry for her...transitioning to other things after a series is tough in most cases- but she's not an actress or model really, she doesn't do music, her looks are good but there are ten thousand girls in Hollywood just like her, her fashion designs have been far from a huge success; what is she really going to do now?? As people start forgetting The City, it will only get worse when Us and People don't put her picture in every week...Tough situation to be in...:(

exactly. and she's such a beautiful girl...

I know this is a stupid question, but is there going to be anything with her fashion line at NY Fashion Week??

I'm sorry, maybe I am totally wrong, but her cardigan from the last pictures looks similar to Jessica Stam's from her collection for Rachel Roy. No?

Sticking to her on-the-go book promo schedule, Whitney Port was spotted heading to PIX11 Morning News in New York City earlier today (February 3).

Looking darling, the reality TV beauty stopped for a few quick photos for the paparazzi before heading inside for the day beginning TV spot.

As of late, Ms Port has been busy introducing her first book called “True Whit: Designing a Life of Style, Beauty and Fun.”

In the literary offering, readers will learn about Whit's unique style philosophy (including when to break the rules), as well as her family's influence on her sense of style and her perfect outfits for any occasion - from meeting a guy's parents to wowing an interviewer for a job.

Port also details what young women really want to know, like what to eat when the mid-afternoon munchies strike, how to throw an impromptu party and how to hide a hangover.

This would be the style she has been showing since the people behind The City were telling her what to wear...?? Running over to Amazon for overnight delivery right now!! (Somehow, I don't see this one getting on the New York Times Bestseller List....)

I wish harem pants would go away. I'm so sick of fashionistas trying to make them happen.

Has anyone actually gotten her book?

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: We know you mostly for your TV shows and also as a fashion designer. How did the opportunity to write a book come about?
WHITNEY PORT:
It was kind of a natural progression. I was finding that I was getting lots of questions from girls all over the world about so many different things that they were going through. My mom says lots of girls my age are going through a “quarter life crisis,” where we’re not quite sure what we’re meant to be doing, and we’re under a lot of pressure to make decisions that will basically make or break our futures. I thought I’d write a fun book on how to alleviate those pressures and give a lifestyle guide based on my experiences and how I got to where I am today.

You mention in the dating section that the producers of The City meddled in some of your relationships. Are you worried about MTV’s reaction?
[Laughs]. MTV is the least of my worries. They know what’s up. They were there, and they know what the experience was like. It’s no secret that [The City and The Hills] were not 100 percent true to reality. I’m not that concerned about it.

In the “Working Girl” section of your book, you make a few digs at your City costar Olivia Palermo. Have you thought about how she’ll react?
We don’t get along so great, and that’s not a secret either. I don’t think she’ll even care, to be honest.

I wonder if she see's the irony of offering dating and career advice book to the girls who drew their impressions of her career and relationships from a show she admits is fake?

I'm also curious why she's STILL taking digs at Olivia P?

My guess would be because Olivia has become relevant in the fashion world and is working and seen everywhere, while Whitney is...ummm...
