I love big windows and the i love the first pic on post #1. It kinda reminds me of the loft in the movie Ghost.

lovely thread, Hanne. a window like this one would definitely go in my dream kitchen/house. it's beautiful.

I like looking at real state sites just to see designs of different things, windows are definitely my favorite thing to look at.. I found this picture a while ago, it's obviously strategic photography but a window that could illuminate two floors is again, a dreamy feature I'd love to have..

ah - great thread. It's funny how something so utilitarian can be so much more. I also love big loft style windows, and 1920s style windows with features at the top, and then a big expanse of glass. I took this photo in my old neighbourhood before I left. I just love the detailing and the square garden boxes as well as the coloration.
