Winter coats and jackets

i was thinking about getting a parka but i think its gonna be a major trend. i think i might freeze and get a Dior Homme tailored jacket that fits (they now have petit sizes in london)

In Canada a parka is always a major trend!

You could never survive winter without one

I have a few winter coats: black down filled parka with faux fur trim from Aritzia, vintage mink cropped jacket from my great grandmother, white long parka from Mendocino, a brand new houndstooth coat from H&M (total steal! looks so much more expensive), beige princess cut coat from Club Monaco, and probably a new Club Monaco coat from this year's stock. Just waiting to see what they come out with for winter.

I'm also looking for a chic ski jacket but not sure what I'll be buying.

i'm finding it hard to find a coat i want- i may end up re-using the ones i bought last year.

My would-be winter coat if past seasons were no limit & money wasn't a question would be this one from Jean Pierre-Braganza Fall/Winter 05: (although Topshop had somewhat ruined it for me when it produced a cheaper shoddier quality reduced in structure & cut "inspired" version with garishly brassy buttons last year)

my main winter coat is black, from h+m, the one that also comes in red and black check if anyone knows...

though i may also wear my blue topshop one from last year which is more full length and gorgeous.

My favorite coat of all time - woollen knee-length trench-ish brown coat from BZR

I want a gorgeous double-breasted wool coat from kookai.. but I can't get it until next month unfortunatly.. it's lovely

the miu miu and jean pierre-braganza pieces are lovely.
i always go for multiple coats, as it's my 'fashion obsession', if you will. but always military/edwardian-inspired and almost always black.

Since Im so petite and slender now my gorgeous Andrew Marc cashmere coat from last year it's grossly too big (I can turn it into a wrap coat it's so big). I got a Banana Republic velvet peacoat, Im in love. Im changing the buttons into silver discs rather than the cheap plastique buttons it has now.

My winter coat is a classic Burberry trench with a removable wool lining that I bought in college, it's almost time to register it to vote :p If I were in Chicago, I would  I also have a black uncut corduroy (~velvet) knee-length coat from Anthropologie that I wear more as a jacket/layering piece ... good lightweight coat for when there's a slight chill.

PS I may get one of those long cardigan coats for fall ...

I've seen a nanette lepore jacket on eluxury which is brown and tweedy with balloon sleeves, if I could get that in the UK i'd be very happy...cold but happy.

Mainly the aero black leather cafe racer jacket I bought at the end of last winter.

Well I got my winter coat at Burlington Coat Factory because I happened to see it when I was shopping for some underwear-it's a brown knee-length jacket with faux fur trim around the collar, it's got kind of a deep neckline, and there's a sort of tapestry print on it.

i got a lot of coats in h&m...this is one of them...
