Winter coats and jackets

I wish a belted trench coat would do the trick, but I'm from Vancouver and living in Montreal, so when it hits -40, I just want to die if I'm wearing anything other than a ankle length North Face parka.

Vintage 3/4 length leopard print coat I bought many years ago in Leeds. Sometimes (like now) it's fashionable, sometimes it isn't, but it's warm, it's me & it always gets comments - usually favourable.

i got this h&m one that i cut the other useless buttons off. am intending to slim it down. decent buy for the price. I just bought a cropped grey peacoat from japan for $50, will take pics when i get it

I have a Versace wool Trench coat I wear whenever the weather allows me to, if it gets too cold I wear a green Prada coat, which is very warm

Hooray for another "listing" thread!

Depending on the weather I switch between these. They all look better in real life, but especially the third and fourth.

I also have a fairly "classic" black cashmere overcoat and a green cordoroy coat that I use for the rare occasions when I wear beige/brown.

Yes, that's a dressing room store picture... LOL. I took a picture to show my mom, so she could buy it for me. YAY! HAHAAHAH AND IT WAS ONLY $27!
I live in South Florida though, I never even need a winter jacket.. that one was for a vacation in Europe.

My dream coat is a black McQueen with padlocked belt, and has been since I first spotted one years ago (probably on Net-a-porter).

What I actually saw was probably a modified version of those shown during his fall '03 collection. Like this, in unquilted wool, or this (see close-up of padlock), in a knee-length version. It's amazing the specifics a mind can retain when speaking of love; if this coat and I had ever conversed, I know I'd still remember every word, and every sideways glance.
