Winter coats and jackets

I have a sweater toggle coat that I bought a few years ago. I wear it every winter season... are they trendy now or something? I think of them as a classic.

troubel is the price (how often do we hear that!!!) :)

Is that a Cavalli? It's cute. Fur intimidates me, but I know i want something with it on there.

  I like this whole outfit by Michael Kors - boots and all.

Cavalli is usually tacky..but that is GORGEOUS ! :crush:

Most of my coats are like that witht he fur aroudn the collar, most of them are Cavalli. I don't find them tacky i find them unique. :flower:

Fall Jackets / coats

I did a search and couldn't find a subject about fall jackets so I hope there already isn't one!!

Anyways what kind of jacket or coat are you looking to buy this fall? Feel free to post a picture too!

I really like the Prada Mui Mui double breasted coruroy coat. I don't like the price tag of 499.97 though

I've been thinking about this a bit. I have a basic black peacoat and a winter white cashmere/wool coat that is longer and dressier.

I think I'd like a tweed coat of some kind, but I haven't found one that I consider nice enough and I can't splurge on a Chanel. I want something that isn't just a basic black and white tweed. I want it to be nubbier, like a boucle, with a lot of different threads woven in, and sort of a looser, soft weave.

I'm also thinking I want a basic khaki or black trench that I can belt.

i have wanted this coat ever since i laid eyes on it. it's so expensive.

Midnight Satin Helmut Lang Trench $2095

i was seeing & photographing coats in my dream (just woke up)
most of them were printed/embroidered or jaquard and
very colourful... guess thats what i need

Zara has some very cute LV/MarkJacobs retro inspired styles,
including lots of sweet colored tweed coats with fur collar details
but i would never get a coat from Zara, a coat needs to be best quality
or else one is just wasting money.

i got a fitted stretch wool boucle peacoat from zara more than 8 yrs ago...and it's still in great shape and a staple of my wardrobe...amazing...no?...

i guess you are lucky softie, most of their fabrics fall apart (little threads and peeling) on the first time one puts them on..

should i move this topic to trendspotting?
its a hot trend discussion

from this season, if i had all the money in the world... i would be buying these:
