Greetings, moniescloset! Before I begin with the "Yay or Nay?" on the pumps in Post #12,245, I just want to say that I've visted your site and think you do a great job on your website. Now on to the shoes.

I look at those open-toe pumps, and that color pattern is like peppermint candy. Like turning a few candy canes into a chic pair of shoes. I'm going to give those a Yay! I love these shoes and the cute pattern. Those pumps will certainly make you eye candy. After a horrible, rainy day here in Houston today, those pumps made my day. So yay!

Dress confidently and show some style!

John M, thanks so much for the nice comments...you convinced me to get them! Sorry guys, I know there are way more nays than yays, but there's just something i love about them, plus there are on sale for 110 from 225. I promise that I generally do take your advice on these things :)

A note that I found out about those shoes moniescloset posted are called "Deandra" pumps, made by a designer I truly respect- Betsey Johnson. Those shoes just seem like peppermint candy with the alternating silver and magenta. And nothing says "cute shoes" like a cute little bow across the toe area. So I easily fell in love with those pumps. They're just designed so tastefully (to coincide with my candy references for those shoes) while also looking greatly attractive and fun.

Glad I (and others) could be of help, moniescloset!

moniescloset, I think they can only work depending on how they're paired. They're quite tacky, but can be fun. Just don't wair them with such a trendy outfit and not with overtly urban style either. I can just see them on the feet of female rappers and hip-hop artists and I'm not getting good visions. I'm trying to think of a way they can be worn. I do see the cuteness within. But I guess you'll have to come to The Personal Style forum for that.

What do you guys think of this personalized gold necklace?

I'm reminded many times in the mid-late 1990s of necklaces bearing a femme's first name on it. For the personalized necklace in Post #12,257; I'm going to have to say Nay! to it. There isn't much for me to fall in love with that necklace to recommend it. I know it's a personalized necklace, but it's just not exciting enough for me to go with it.
