Yohji Yamamoto Menswear F/W 2023.24 Paris

several pieces (jackets, shirts, shoes seen in the four looks in #2) are Y's for men designed again by yohji yamamoto.

thanks for this info... :flower:
i think YY pour homme has been the strongest of all the YY collections for some years now so it seems like a clever thing to expand that area...
the fact that YY himself will design it is only good news!

hurray~!!

:bounce:...

Not sure a trouser really needed pleats on the back and pockets moved so far sidewards... I'm all up for the 'attitude' of wearing Yohji, the choice of fabrics and the low-slung nature of his pants but then I look at this and it reminds me that I'm usually better off with Lemaire if I want something in this feel.

probably the pants or the style needed those 12 pleats so as to attain that voluminous particular roundishness.
but if you purely take a rational or functional stand (like artis sola domina necessitas), the shape itself can be unnecessary.
I wouldn't compare yohji with lemaire. they are as different as senbei and biscuit.
