this is my favorite collection from PFW hands down

I love this so much.. My favourite collection of the entire season far and away ....

I fell in love with this collection. Great silhouettes

it all makes perfect sense

i tell you this together with his men's show(which had my name on everything) he's really on a roll at the moment.

Total genius, this collection. Wow. Absolutely the best of the season, and one of Yohji's best in quite a while (not that he's been degrading).
The velvet and knit throughout is so divine. I also have to point out the set of muted red, green, blue, and purple looks in the middle. Brilliant. The purple is my favorite.
I can't find one piece I dislike. I want it all.

thank you marc...
...

i love to see yohji being appreciated by those who really know what they are looking at and talking about...

Pure perfection! Fantastic! Very wearable and yet still true to his form! I love it! This is what some houses miss.. the element of excitement whilst maintaining the form, aesthetic, and identity of the house.

Full show:flower:

Best collection this season...
Magnificent, the black and the red, the make up..everything.
Pure perfection.

This collection is the quintessential Yohji! I hold him and a few other designers to a much higher standard because they've never made a bad collection before and he still amazes me everytime.

*tears streaming down my face*

this hits me where i live...

......

i love the moments of emptiness...
the easy pace...
the relaxed clothing...
those flowing sleeves...
that emotional piano music...
the pauses & hesitations of sound to match the empty spaces...
and crescendos to match the magical moments of the show...
very beautiful, floating, poetic, transcendent, even...

the piano music is what pushed me over the edge...
...

the hooded kimono with the red lining is chasing me around...
i see it not only in my dreams, but every time i blink...

...

and i love how he shows the girls holding the longer kimonos...as they drag behind them...
it's like a lesson in how to be elegant and graceful... almost regal...
though i do wish that they seemed a little more natural and relaxed...
i doubt most of those girls would have a clue if they weren't directed, and it shows a bit...
ie- it would have been nice if someone had moved their hands and shown a variation on a drape...
cause that is what happens in real life...

that's not a flaw in the collection ...
it's just that the talent pool is lacking when it comes to girls these days...
i miss the old days when models knew how to wear clothes...
*imagine shalom harlow in this show...

i've said it so many times but i am going to keep repeating this...
yohji's clothes are meant to be worn and as such can best be appreciated in motion...
it's all about the video...
