His Noir collections aren't doing it for me. I'm getting an androgynous vibe from them, although that's usually a good thing for women's collections. The bulky fit always bothers me, though. The styling - the dress with the sneakers...:blink:

I'm assuming the fabrics are top notch, but the styling, the way it's worn on the body, how it fits just don't cut it, imo.

I do like that the collection emphasizes form, as someone mentioned earlier. :flower:

What do you mean "bulky", arturo?

The way he cuts his garments allows for a lot of fluid motion and draping, which wouldnt be available with more fitted forms.

thanks for posting, runner! i liked the winter noir collection better but this is still nice... i think tricotine said in the other thread noir was like a best of yamamoto^_^

i think i actually like this season better...
especially the blouses and all the bows...
the 'cocoon' sweaters are lovely as well...
