Overall, I did not like it. The shapes/silhouette and style of the pieces were very reminiscent of those in his Spring 2004 collection, with a few exceptions. It is not that continuity is a bad thing, it's nothing is new at all. Also, avant-garde designers using the white shirt is pretty much a cliche for me now. It was fresh at first, now it's getting tired. Though I still like how Yamamoto did it in this collection, a bit.

I like this very much Runner - its beautiful & very wearable. I love the top, I have a thing about tops with flowers & ruffles on them! I must be a repressed romantic....

i really feel like some of these designers are channelling the ghost of carolyn kennedy. i like how forcefully yohji mixed his trademark volume with an almost couture sophistication. if i had to predict a trend based on this collection, i would say that minimalism is sneaking its way back onto the radar. but instead of that sharp, uniform of the nineties, we have this modern, luxurious, almost decadadent overabundance of fabric and detail.

you do realize of course that she wore a HUGE ammount of yohji...so if this looks like her...that would be why...

no offence to Yojhi fans but i find this kind of fashion a bit odd and almost pretentious. i cant make any sence out of it or why anyone would find it appealing
