I've noticed that too, the guys stuff is just so-so, but they've had some great runway pieces for women, stuff I'd never expect to see on Yoox anyway.

Hello all, and I apologize for what may seem like novice questions, ao please bear with me, and thank all for any help:
1. Can someone please explain the Yoox 10% off code?
2. Does Yoox go any further than their '30%' markdowns?
I don't usually buy clothes online, I prefer to seem them in person, and try on, but some may be tempting, especially if the price is right, and I am interested in a couple of items.

Answers to the above questions...

1) You enter the code during checkout and receive an extra 10% off your order total.
2) Yes, right now it's more than 30%. It's easy to tell right now, since all the prices are currently slashed and reduced. That reduction is currently an extra 20% off the original 30% off. It will continue to drop until the final sale, when they will take an addition 75 or 80% off on top of everything else. Things are literally dirt cheap at that time, but go within hours.

I think that's pretty much right.

Has anyone received a copy of *surface magazine in the mail, as a gift from yoox? I received one, along with a tyvex yoox.com-branded bag, and it said gift on the UPS packaging. I've never ordered from yoox before, and I wonder if this is a yoox thing or a *surface promotion? Curiously, I don't think *surface mag has my address either, so I'm kinda puzzled.

It was a Yoox promotional thing, but I'm guessing they partnered with Surface to make it happen. They sent out an email awhile back saying the shipment had been delayed..a bunch of us had signed up on the website.

My copy arrived today,I was a bit shocked they shipped it UPS, doesn't seem to have too much fashion, more creative home/living ideas.

Also wanted to say that I think you did good on going down a size on the Dior Homme Luster jeans, as these do fit a little larger. I hope they work out perfect for you!

I got it yesterday too. I'm glad it was this particular issue, much better than most late ones. Yes, Surface is not as much about the clothes as they used to be, but it works for me since I follow design from clothes to kitchens

P.S. Why did they bother sending that bag?

You're welcome. And the jeans aren't actually from the Luster collection. They're from f/w 05. Luisaviaroma is just calling them "luster".

You went a size down on them, Alex? I have never bought any DH jeans, but I like these. They remind me of my old glittery Paul & Joe jeans from 1999, but the glitter has been all washed off. I wonder if it's just that shiny polyurethane-like finish that Hedi has used on his tees before?

Yeah, it's probably very similar to that finish. I went a size down because they're 21 cm.

AlexN, thanks again for your reply to my initial questions and for the clarification on the Dior jeans. As you can tell I am no Dior expert, never baught a pair myself. A friend of mine was visiting last week, and had a few pair of Dior including the one you baught recently, and mentioned that he went smaller on them again because of the 21. I tried a couple of his on, and can safely say I am no Dior man! The fit is just not for me. So thought I'd better stick to my Cloak's for now.
