That's actually better. Half off of retail in addition to the initial discount is better than a discount off of the discounted price. Think about it. If it was originally 50% off $100, then that would make it $50. If you discount it a further 50% but from the original price, you get $0, versus 50% off of $50, which makes it $25!

told ya. as a matter of fact, out of pure interest, i just tried to apply the code for something that is not marked down 50% and it still didn't work, even though it said that the code was applied.

ex: Cloak jeans $155 regular price, $94 regular markdown, with 50% off code goes down to $77...
