some of my favorite pieces that I own I got from Yoox. An awesome olive green Comme des Garcons jacket with semicircular seams on the front and back from a few seasons ago... they have a similar black one there now, but is $1200! I thought they were a discount store, all of their prices are going up! And I got some great Costume National boots, Diesel Style Lab pants, etc. They are like Century 21 in NYC but with a way better selection.

My latest purchase from YOOX

I just bought a Dior Homme long trech coat from YOOX last week, and I love it so much!! I paid $490 for this coat which is quite pricey. But considering the original listed price on YOOX was $1960, it is still quite a good bargain. The style of this coat is very classic and wearable while the cutting and some details are still unmistakably Dior Homme, and the other big surprise when I got this coat was that a tag inside the coat shows that this coat is a special edition for Colette!! And there's another small silk-like tag uner the collar says "Paris" which gives out a very pleasant, perfume-like scent all the time. I love this coat so much. This is definitely the best piece of clothing I've ever bought.

Love YOOX, love it forever!!

I'm thinking it might be (or might've been) a good idea to check the "wrong" season...

I bought a Jil Sander shearling jacket a few weeks ago from the *summer* collection. I suspect this might've been a mixup, because you could also find beachwear among the winter stuff. Shearling isn't usually used for summer clothing... I don't know if there was some confusion because of the change of season or what, but I'm pleased.

I think there's going to be some further markdown, but don't know how much it will be. I have been tracing some Marni's stuff for men which are not even 50% off yet. I am sure they will at least mark down everything by 50% eventually. I first started buying things from them when they did final markdown for S/S 2 years ago. Based on my experience with YOOX, I think they usually keep all the S/S items on until the end of September or even October.

This last F/W, they didn't do so much markdown as they did before, the final discount for most stuff was only 50% off. But during the seasons before that, I had some very good bargains from them during final sale. For example, in September of last year, I bought a dark-colored Jean Colonna pants marked down to $44 from $205. I really like that pants which has very subtle and nice flower prints all over, the cutting is trendy, fabric is nice, it's distinctive without being strange and too loud; besides where else could you even possibly find men's clothes from Jean Colonna in the United States?

Yoox is a bit sneaky, it's not like they throw away unsold stuff, mark it down too low or pass it lower down the food chain...

I've seen seasons old stuff suddenly appearing in the VIP section, and it's not because they suddenly transformed into exclusive vintage pieces...

Yoox is amazing sometimes, and I do love having a good search around the site, but I'm wary since buying a John Galliano bag described as a "medium sized bag" (which looked rather big in the photos) but when it arrived it was tiny i was really disheartened, it would have been a great bargain if it had been the right size .

I love this "belt", but I'd wear it under the bust over a blouse (that looks more like how it's meant to be worn).

I bought F/W with this code. It did tell me that free shipping is until Jul31, but it took off the shipping charge nonetheless. Must've been a glitch in their software.

Oh man, that was on my wish list forever. I was so pissed when I saw that someone had gotten it for $490. Good to know it's someone on TFS.
