Visconti,

Are you a frequent Yoox-shopper??? Since one year I have been scrolling through Yoox and purchasing some very cool items. I think the customer service oriented strategy and the collection of brands and products is totally amazing. Here in Amsterdam there is always a big entrance-barrier to those ultra-chique shops, but at Yoox nobody is judging you on your fashionability or financial credibility and that is a great thing:)

Next purchase??? I do not know, there is so much to choose. And yours?????:)

I end up doing most of my shopping there because, like you said, the collection of brands can't be beat. If I know that I'm going to be travelling somewhere that MIGHT have some of the brands I'm looking for, then I'll leave yoox alone for a while, but I usually end up ordering about every 2 weeks or so.

Speaking of shopping in real boutiques, when I was on vacation in August I noticed a pattern. Almost every time the shop actually stocked what I was looking for, the SAs were very cordial and easy to talk to. Then, frustratingly, the shops that had nothing but flashy logo-centric stuff were almost always judgmental and rude.

As for my next purchase, I'm not entirely sure. I've been trying to limit the temptation recently by only really looking at a few brands. I'm keen to pick up a Jil Sander suit, but I don't really NEED a new suit right now. Basically, at this point I only seriously look at McQueen, Simons, Sander, Margiela and Costume National. Other than some of the McQueen stuff it's all easy to integrate in with what I already have. I keep any eye out for stuff like Ann D. and Marsell, but it rarely shows up, so I'm usually safe from those temptations.

i don't think so, but a free shipping code was posted in the coupons thread. it's paypal@yoox, supposedly only good when paying with paypal.

Hmm, that didn't work for me, even with Paypal checked. Hurrm.

Unfortunately, at least on the men's side, it looks like they've just made the bulk of the S/S collection non-refundable, but haven't dropped the prices significantly. I've been waiting for a shirt to go lower than 1/3 off, but it's still the same price.

Worse...they've actually bumped UP the prices on several items in the men's sample sale. But there are still some good deals to be had in there.

I just found a Prada dress I bought at full price on YOOX for half the price. Booo for me (yay for someone else)!
