yeah the good ol' days. :( was hoping that would happen to a pair of cdiem shoes but alas they got picked up by someone.

i also wish yoox was like it used to be...
i also often find the prices way too high for stuff thats 2seasons (at least) old? no?

yes, i agree with that. the prices start out too high.

how do you like their new look? i'm just happy that i can see 30 items per page now. i want the dream box to be able to hold at least 100 items, too. :)

yoox is having a sample sale right now:

fresh@yoox still works for free shipping.

i think it's for any country but you have to mess around with it a bit: bookmark the item you want to buy, log into your country, and then go back to the bookmark, and it should show up in your country. i tried this on my computer and it worked, but it's a matter of cookies.

Are some eBay sellers like xstyleshop and edealstyle affiliated with yoox at all? The mannequins in the auctions look very similar to the yoox ones, and the designers featured in those eBay stores are the ones yoox carries as well. Do all roads eventually lead to eBay? lol..

i emailed xstyleshop about this and they said they have an arrangement with yoox to sell their overstock and use their pictures. hmmm

I really don't like the new site. The dreambox is useless!
BTW,fresh@yoox doesn't work anymore for free shipping. Anyone has the code? Thank you!

has anyone done returns recently? have they taken a few weeks?

i ask because i did a retun while in japan and my money got credited back 2-3 days after they received the return! i was wondering if they changed systems or something- but it's probably just japan.

also has anyone done a return after paying with paypal? apparently they instantly credit your account? is this true?

emergency! the new yoox site won't work for me. i tried it in firefox and safari (i'm on a mac) and whenever i click on an item to see more info/add it to the cart, it takes me to a page that has all the spaces for the information - but nothing in it. this happening to anyone else?

I've no problem with Firefox 1.5.0.6 on WinXP. Perhaps you haven't got the newest flash plugin or its execution is blocked on your installation? (I guess they use flash for showing the picture etc.)

cerfas, I am on a mac too. Yoox loads fine for me in Firefox, but I just checked it in Safari (v 1.3.2) and had the same problem. Looks like it's a Javascript bug (Yoox only uses Flash on their front page - they use Javascript on the individual item pages). Maybe it works in Safari 2.0, but if you're not running the latest version of OSX there's probably not much you can do, beyond cursing Yoox for their sloppy coding.

It should work in Firefox though...perhaps you're running an older version? Try upgrading...(Also make sure the you have Javascript enabled.)

same with me on a mac using 10.3.9. safari is useless now, but if you upgrade firefox to 1.5.0.6 you will probably be fine. at my office I use XP on a pc and have no problems with any of the browsers.
