I also forgot to mention American Girl starring Margaret Cho. I couldn't believe there was a show with Asians on it when I was a kid and I thought it was hilarious. What was even funnier was that the mom on the show was Chinese, the dad was Japanese, Margaret was Korean and the grandmother was played by Japanese-Finnish Amy Hill. Looking at the 90s model thread and thinking about this tv show, I feel like we've actually lost a lot of diversity in media...
