i've put my name on the waiting list for almost a year in HK, without much news. i've came across several on shop but the color is not for me, like dark brown or smaller sizes.
i guess when it's my turn, i'll be saving enough money (provided that i don't buy anymore bags or shoes)

I currently have my eye on the Louis Vuitton Coussin GM bag. I have no idea why it sticks out to me so much, but I love it. Hopefully it will be mine soon!

my view is that everyone has their thing. Men buy "toys" also but very often they are far more expensive than our whole bag collection. Personally I could care less about driving a $50k+ car. If I have an extra $800/month I'd rather buy more real estate or an appreciating asset than drop that on a car note. .....In comparison, my bags are paid in full and I don't have a "note" every month on them...For my girlfriends that don't understand, I note that the money they drop on getting their hair and nails done every month equates to buying one $1200 bag every year. I do my own hair and nails....I'd rather have a fly bag. Anyhoo...those are the justifications I use when my circle looks at me like I am crazy when I buy a new bag.

Finally someone who understands. I quite enjoyed your post. You are fabulous!

My collection is very small and insignificant. I don't own any 'it' bags.
I've bought most of my bags from high-street stores and little boutiques.
The green bag I designed to match my formal ('prom') dress...
The Gucci bag was handed down to me from my Mum, she bought it in Italy 20 or so years ago.
The brown bag is not real, I'm sure most of you would know...its not even a copy but its obviously inspired by the Balenciaga bag...
