YSL Belt

i just saw this thread. this belt is my absolute staple.

i have...

black patent
nude patent
brown leather
grey leather
burgundy velvet

and i want the leopard print one.

its so fantastic

ps: i'm quite surprised you don't already own the leopard print cowhair one...
one of my friends owns it, it is amazing...

Some ideas on how I will wear the belt...

- long sleeve, long waisted grandpa-tees, with pencil skirt
- over a slouchy 80s style leopard print top with skinny jeans
- over a cardigan and pencil skirt
- over a waisted trenchoat
- over a simple black loosefitted jersey dress (gotta find one yet!)
- over a 80's oversize, long stripey sweater (like the dior one for this season)with skinny jeans

In YSL, they had the belt on the mannequin over a white peasant style top tucked into a stripey tulip skirt. looked great.

anyone else have suggestions?

I just checked out that ebay auction, it says the waist 30 cm which is 11 inches. Even if thats taken with the belt buckled and measured in half, then it's 22 inches, and no ones over the age of like 12 has a waist that small. I'm confused

most models have a waist of 24"... if you had a waist that small and a completely flat stomach, you could do the 22" to cinch yourself in ...

Why don't you ask the seller if she means 30inches? That's about average waist size so it would make sense don't you think???? Im almost certain that's what it would be.... Guessgirl do you have a ysl near you?

gross indeed, you just have to have the grace to pull things like this off.

i love having full layers and cinching it all in with a wide belt and setting it on teetering stilettos

I have that belt in nude patent, black patent and chocolate! It is gorgeous, and like pradaromance mentioned a wardrobe staple. It adds elegance to many outfits. I think Pollyanna stock them online incase you don't have a YSL boutique nearby.

To be honest, if i'd found the leather I would have bought it over the patent. I love my patent but it's going to crinkle easily..... I think non-patent is more versatile. Still....gotta love em anywhich way!
