i think this big belt, worn high look is interesting.

definetly see this becoming popular, esp after all the boho girls this summer with the metallic wide belts... they can easily incorporate this into their wardrobe without being too avant garde.

aris- i think you could wear it with your suits. instead of an oxford shirt or a sheel top worn under the jacket... try wearing a long (not tunic long though) silk top either sleevless or short sleeved, that pulls away from the body a bit at the waist, worn untucked and over the waist of the pants. then wear the belt over the silk shirt to accentuate the waist, and the jacket over it all.

i think it would be a nice silouette for the office

oh, I really love your idea! I'll try it tomorrow! The problem is that I work in man dominated field in a macho country and if I want to be taken seriously I have to dress modest. I love fashion though and now that I have built my carrier I think I can afford to break my rule a bit. I still use my blazers as a uniform and hide under them, so your idea fits me perfectly.

I know its cheating, but I just received my total knockoff version...from asos.com.

I wore it today with a vintage purple dress that has very YSL-like ruffle-detailing at the neck, and blouson sleeves.

I tried to see how mine would look with jeans at the hips but it was too small, but at the same time it's a tiny bit too large around my waist unless I wear it over a thick jacket. They need to put more holes in
