Hello all - good news and bad news.

The good news is that after months (!!!), my beautiful black patent leather Clichy pumps with the 120mm heel arrived from Paris. They are just beautiful!!!!!


The bad news is that they are the wrong size. (GASP!) I can't return them and try as I might, I can't wear them - they just don't look right with a thick pair of woolen socks!


What can I do with them? They cost me a fortune!!

Why cant you send them back? did your friend order them in the wrong size, or they just sent you the wrong size? I think if it's their fault they should be responsible for rectifying the mistake.

If worst comes to worst you can always sell them on ebay- but that would be soo sad

My girlfriend ordered these when she was in Paris in early December. I just received them last week - more than 3 months! I can't imagine what kind of delays I might be exposed to if I were to return them. I already spoke to the store in NYC and they said that they would not exchange them since these shoes are not sold in the US. They would sell so many of these - even at $800 a pair. Look for these on EBay - I'm afraid that is my only choice.

How much 'too big' are they?

Have you considered some sort of foot pad or maybe stuffing the toes a bit to push your foot back?

I bit the bullet this morning and posted the shoes on EBay. To mitigate my frustration, they are listed for $1,250.00 - after all, they truly are one-of-a-kind.

They are perfect, the softest black patent and EU size 41.

i am not sure if i mentioned it but for F/W 07 the clichy comes with a big bow on the back of the heel... gorgeous!

Wish I could wear them that high, but would hurt the balls of my feet - the Clichy is so sexy & so classy at the same time.
Unfortunately, I take size UK 4 (37) and that is so small as I'm 5' 7" tall! It is a family joke I am so clumsy as my feet too small for the rest of me!
