Brian!!! Your worn-in Muse looks even more gorgeous than the new ones I saw IRL!!! It's slouched in the sexiest way, I never imagine it would be THAT hot!

GG's white muse is slouched in an appealing way as well, completely different from Sienna's. I guess while traveling so much she had to cram it inside her luggage bags, etc, which added to its crumpled appearance.

I loooove seeing these pictures of broken-in muses, they are even HOTTER than stock photos from Neimanmarcus!

Didn't quite intend to get this today but I have been looking for a brown bag and initially wanted to get the chocolate muse but when I tried it on in the store earlier, it seemed quite dark, quite close to black and wasn't as brown as I'd hoped. Then the SA showed me this and I fell in , even though its canvas and not leather, I really like the 2 colour tone, handles are dark brown, the camera doesn't quite do the bag justice.

It looks beautiful luv vintage! I've seen the canvas version in another combo too, a lighter taupe body with the dark brown handles. So cute. My white leather medium Muse arrives on Monday and I can hardly wait!

i saw the black and white patents today at YSL. i liked the black patent alooot more. i'm thinking about getting that in XL which is supposed to come in any day now.

aagh, you should've taken pics! the ones from ysl houston weren't that great. i want to see the patents in different angles,lights, etc. i can't wait til the websites start showing pics.

That's the Anthracite Muse. I have it in the Large size. I love it because it is not too blingy. I'm not normally a fan of metallic bags, but this metallic is just right. I purchased mine from YSL in NYC (57th Street) back in February. You can try the YSL boutiques, and you might want to try Bergdorf Goodman. I know Bergdorf had the Medium size not too long ago. At this point I think the Medium is going to be a lot easier to come by than the Large or the Oversized is. There might be some of the larger sizes out there, but you will probably need to do a bit of calling around. Good luck.

Thanks makeupaddict, I think mine is the one you're talking about, the picture made the brown canvas look very dark but its lighter than that.

ilovepositano, thanks, I didn't see the patent bags when I was at the store yesterday, I guess they're haven't brought in the new collection yet. I saw white and black large and oversized though, they were all on display. Black patent sounds gorgeous!

So what does everyone think - is Jen A.'s Muse a black or a chocolate? I thought it was blk. (and I think it was listed as such) - but compared to her grey sweater it has a warmer-may-be-chocolate tone to it.

I was surfing the net and ran across the StyleDrops site. I know they sell authentic was surfing the net and ran across the StyleDrops site. I know they sell authentic merchandise but they were selling a Black Oversize Muse for $1,514. They are also selling the medium muse for $1,261 ($1,095 in stores). What's the point in that?!?!? If anyone can walk into a department store or boutique and buy the Muse XL muse for $1,295... why buy the same bag over the internet for $1,514? That completely eerks me.

boobookitty: not sure, but i think someone from singapore mentioned that YSL bags are ALOT more there, so styledrops may be pricing to that trying to hook some unlucky soul from singapore who must have that sold out muse...

the black patent is very gorgeous indeed. i didn't like the white patent with the gold hardware at all, but that's just me. the distressed effect on the black patent is TDF! so very fabulous!

I think the deal with styledrops is that it's based in italy and the prices are slightly different there. Most of their merchandise is actually below retail, the fendi bbags were like $300 cheaper I think.

Hmm, two versions of a silver color in the Muse?! They both sound gorgeous. I ran into that scenario when I bought my medium at Neimans. The SA kept telling me mine was bronze, but I knew the bronze was much more of a copper color. Mine is what I call chocolate brown metallic. Guess YSL has lots of different versions of the metallics.
