i just noticed--if you look closely, on the second row, to the right of the shoes, behind the chocolate muse, you can see the chocolate/burgundy patent!! WOW!! stunning!

brian - i saw this on monday, the chocolate/burgundyish patent muse in large. it is truly yummy looking. they only had large though (i know most prefer the XL).

i think the patent ones are great as a second muse. the black patent looks great on that girl in the picture.

for me the best part about the muse is how nice it can look for work-- i have seen so many gorgeous women (& men) carrying them in suits. i don't think the patent ones would look great at work...

i still like chocolate way better than oak, and will definitely get the red or chocolate XL come fall.

Called YSL in SF today to buy the large chocolate patent Muse (if they still had it) - and they did - however - the SA told me that they would have to charge me Georgia tax to send it to Atlanta even though they don't have boutiques there . So I told her I might as well try to find it in Atlanta where I could see it IRL first - or perhaps Bergdorf's so I wouldn't have to pay any tax. I KNOW I am going to love this bag!

SA at YSL in SF called me back. She was wrong. Bag is being shipped to me - no tax, no shipping charges!! I'm going back to Atlanta on Tues. - it will be there on Wed. or Thurs. Think I might have to cancel the olive that I have on order from Bergdorf's - any opinions on that?

^^I LOVE tsf - the support and enthusiasm is THE BEST!! Mundo - I think you're right and I'll just cancel the olive to avoid shipping charges back and forth. I love the patents much more (although IRL the white patent didn't do anything for me - much prefer the ivory leather!) I'll post pics as soon as the brown patent arrives!! to you all.

Hi...new to this thread...purchased a YSL XL muse in choc. from NM in ATL today...am torn...maybe should have gotten the med? The SA said that she ha the med., and wishes she'd gotten the lg. I'm intrested to see how the leather wears.Any comments would be appreciated.

in terms of wearing, the XL will slouch up quite a bit (in a really nice way!), here are some pics of worn in ones:

And as Brian and others have mentioned, mine is a total puddle when sitting, but on the shoulder gravity makes it take back its original shape no problem.
