Hi guys! The Oak Muse is now available at NeimanMarcus.com.

They had the Oak listed for quite some time. But, there was never a picture. They only had the picture of the olive. Anyway, you can choose between the oak and olive. However, the oversized Oak is $1295 and a large Olive is for the same price too. They're on the same page or something. I think the Oak is really cute. Here's the picture:

I'm contemplating on getting an oversized bronze Calf Hair Muse when it comes out. But, it looks quite like my bronze Bugatti bag. I don't like the Metallic anthracite though. So, I don't know. What do you guys think? I think it'd make a good bag for the fall.

Also, beauxgoris, I think that the snow leopard Muse would really suit you. I've seen some of your bags. I think that you have a nice collection. Anwyway, I think that the snow leopard goes with a lot of things. You can wear a simple white top, jeans and tote that bag. It'll stand out. It also will look great with black and beige. I don't know. At least that's what I think. LOL! I have the snow leopard in the hobo Bugatti. I also have the snow leopard sandals. I tried wearing them together once. It didn't look good at all. It'd be a fashion faux pas if I wore them together. I mean, they'd look nice with different things. If you're contemplating about getting one, go to a YSL boutique and try it out first. If it suits you, kudos to you!

Have you seen the Metallic anthracite IRL because I didn't think it was all that thrilling until I saw one at NM & it was really stunning especially with the dark silver/pewter hardware. I'm still tempted to get one. Every time I hit NM I try not to look for it.

Yasmin - you have a gorgeous YSL collection. Maybe you should just go for the Oak/Olive XL for fall since your bronze Bugatti is so similar to the calf hair Muse.

Pinkie, I've seen the metallic anthracite. I mean, it's a nice bag. But, it's totally not me. I don't like the hue that much. I can't explain it for some reason. I saw the pictures of that girl's black patent. It's really pretty. Anyway, Tiger1, the oak is a great color. I'll see. I already have the olive in a hobo version. Here's the picture:

It looks kinda dark in the picture though. It looks exactly like the olive colored one above. Anyway, I liked it when I first saw it. But, I hated it later. I've actually never used it. That's pretty sad.

seeing your bags heve helped me a lot while deciding, so I just wanted to share some pics of my new muse. I got it almost 2 weeks ago at the YSL boutique in NYC. I planned to get the black in either large or medium but fell in love with chocolate IRL. I also decided on the medium. I'm 5'1" so i thought medium was perfect for me.

Alright, I didn't really care for the Muse but I tried on a white (Im assuming XL) at the Neimans in Garden State Plaza and I fell in love. I want one but it's at the bottom of my long list of must-haves for this Fall. What's at the top is this Snow Leopard tote, I dont know the name but it's a super simple tote with white leather handles, that one is TDF, Id wear it forever (or until the ponyhair falls off).

A bit late, but disintegration - I looove your bag! I never really cared for the Muse but recently I saw a black patent irl and loved it so much, have been thinking about it ever since. Is yours the large? How do you find it, if I may ask? I'm considering one, but I'm not quite sure.. I always thought the black muse wouldn't get much use from me since I have black stam and althought they're quite different, to me they seem too similar with the same hardware rings that attacht the handles to the bag etc.. but in patent it might be different. However I'm afraid it will be too "flashy" with black patent + gold.. is the hardware really more brass-y than gold?

^ Go for it! I luuuurve the black patent muse, I have too much stuff on my "want list" now but I have to get one sometime. I really dont think it's too flashy, the hardware is kind of a muted bronze tone.

thanks guessgirl- ive been browsing the thread and theres so many chouces- i guess i will go to saks myself tomorrow- but can i get u gals to give me ur opinions- i want this bag for work in the large size and am now debating- black patent vs. burgundy patent vs. taupe ----i want to know what LOOKS best, my wardrobe is all over color wise and i have alot of brown bags- what is the burgundy like?

^ I think the burgundy is actually chcolate patent with a burgundy tint, I also saw that IRL and although I liked it a lot, it didnt compare to black.
