Checked the tags on my bag (it's called the Yse ) and I think the leather trim is made of chevre (goat skin) and it also states veau fourrure, which I think is calf hair, so the leopard pattern is printed on the calf hair.

You look fabulous! I have the leopard fauve/muse/whatever it's called ... I get LOADS of compliments whenever I wear it out. Some people have asked where I got it, who made it ... some just straight up ask how much I paid.

I, too, really want a "standard" muse. Can anyone who owns a large black muse comment on this auction? 270033229501

jun, I'm thinking ponyhair and calf hair are probably different, calf hair seems a tad softer to me.. I have a pair of (coincedentally!) leopard print heels on ponyhair and they seem stiffer to me...maybe there's someone else who can verify this??

So, I took my leopard yse on its official outing in SF and it really did garner quite a few compliments!
It felt great carrying such a beautiful bag and of course all the kind words from everyone around certainly helped...it actually works with a lot of things..I even worn it with a lipstick-red trench. I was afraid that it might be a little OTT, but I think it all worked out quite well.
The only complaint that I might have is that since the yse can carry lots, I'll have to be careful not to overload or else the bag gets really heavy!

I got excited too soon.

So I ordered the bag online Sunday night, and as of yesterday hadn't gotten an email saying it had shipped so I called up yesterday to make sure the order was fine and they said no problems, it's scheduled for delievery oct 2, it's fine, blah blah.

Then today I get an email:
"We regret that we are unable to provide this merchandise for the reason explained...Our stocks of this item have been completely depleted and we are unable to obtain additional quantities."

Serves me right for getting all excited over it

the funny thing is that I didn't solve my problem at all, a little elf did it for me...

and that's funny about the chatting online thing because since I couldn't call from work I did just that, went online with the live help and gave them a piece of my mind
