Thanks everyone for your compliments!
mundo, it really is a beautiful bag, I thought about it over and over again for 3 months!!
Never considered a bag for that long, it's leopard print, so I'm really afraid that it wouldn't fit with what I have...but since I can't get it out of my mind after so long, I guess it's just meant to be ;)

^do you find that oversized leopard fauve is slightly smaller than the oversized muse? it looks that way from the pics...?

p.s. your pic makes me want those chloe wedges too!

^OT: Yes, those wedges were a lot more comfy than I expected and I'm probably gonna wear them to death this season! ;)

Now that you mentioned it...the leopard fauve (which is the correct name for my bag and not the muse ) does seem a little "shorter" than the muse itself.
I tried on the oversized muse in black patent in the boutique and I think sizewise it's really "taller" than the fauve slightly, but they do equal out visually due to the dark colour of the muse.

Anyway, I now think I want a proper muse. The brown patent is really gorgeous, but it doesn't come in oversized. The red's lovely too, but I'm holding out for a proper lipstick red!
Ah well, I will take my time till the next purchase...holding out for the right colour to come along..!!

aw man, this piece of info only puts me closer and closer to the edge...

That's exactly what I was thinking, the muse looks slightly taller by an inch or two than the fauve, and the fauve being slightly smaller is a good thing in my eye!

PrincessImp, that bag is a traffic-stopper! Better get some liability insurance before you head (strut!) out carrying that baby!!!!! Phwoar!

PrincessImp, my jaw dropped when I saw your pictures!!! Man, the leopard fauve looks absolutlely stunning on you!!! I like that it's slightly shorter than the Muse too.

^Thanks everyone for the props!
The leopard fauve (gonna get it right from now on!) is going to be my fall bag and it's great that my fall warerobe thus far consists of lots of black, whites, blues, reds and greys...just the perfect backdrop for the leopard print!

PrincessIp, that bag suits you so much!! You looks stunning, it really is a show-stopper!

I'm going to SF over the weekend and I plan to officially "debut" my leopard fauve then! ;)

pucci: thanks...I remember you were considering the black patent a while back...so what's your decision?

PrincessImp: I found out the bag just was not for me, does not fit into my lifestyle, and seing it sitting around in department stores made me kinda go off it.. but that's just my presonal preferance, there have not been any bags out there for a while that as really "wow'ed" me. :(

^Well, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
There's more $$ then to spend on other stuff :flower:

Indeed, I'm finding myself consentrating more on my wardrobe now... so it's all good. :D ;)

Let us know the reactions to the leapord fauve when you carry it, you do make it look smashing.. :flower: Are you scared of using it it? I would be scared of getting it dirty.. it might be ore of a weekend-only bag, no?

Honestly, I'm looking forward to breaking it out.
I never had such a huge leopard piece in my ensemble before so I relish the challenge of planning outfits around it!
I wouldn't mind carrying it for work too though..I think it will liven up those drab business suits a bit, except that I don't think I have drawers large enough to store it

Checked the tags on my bag (it's called the Yse ) and I think the leather trim is made of chevre (goat skin) and it also states veau fourrure, which I think is calf hair, so the leopard pattern is printed on the calf hair.

princessimp...truly amazing. you look great. its beautiful! def keep us posting on your outings with the fab bag!

thanks princess! i think it would work wonders for a work wardrobe, and really make you stand out! random question, but is ponyhair and calf hair the same thing???
