^^^That's fantastic, it is a beautiful bag

I was just wondering if the oversized muse would be able to carry a laptop? It is your typical 15.5" screen. Can it handle the weight?

And out of curiousity....what do all of you "oversized" owners put in your Muse's?

Anyone? Please, I could really use all of your help

I'm not a huge fan of this bag. It's very nice but IMO, it's too big and looks very out of balance.

I have it in the med. size and IMO that size looks just right - although the L and XL have certainly been the most popular. On the larger sizes, to my eye, the hardware looks too small for the size of the bag - like you said, out of balance. (BTW - thanks for your nice comment on the Chanel thread about my yellow drawstring )

brian, no I think its just the smaller size. I remember when talking to my SA he said that there is a 1995 big one and a 1595 smaller one!

Question for any of you that have the oversized muse and a stam (or have tried on both... if I can fit the stam handles on my shoulder, could I fit the oversized muse handles on my shoulder?

The XL muse handles only fit on your shoulder if you are quite petite. I could not wear it on my shoulder, but I believe GG and moriseel could.

Also, depends on what you're wearing. Over my t-shirted shoulder, yes. Over a t-shirt and spring jacket, no way!

So I just spoke with my SA at Neimans and put her on the Muse trail for me, we actually had a really long conversation about the bag. She was telling me how when they got them in, they couldn't give them away, and now, they can't find them anywhere. So whoever it was that said the muse is at peak fever time right now, I think you're right!

Can you all look at the pics of Jessica Alba with hers and tell me what size it is? It looks like the oversized, but the handles look longer than usual, maybe it's just because she's so small they seem to fit her so easily?? Also the side views of the bag don't make it look so huge, again, maybe it's just because she's tall??

Reese: YEs, a laptop would easily fit.

Mundod: I can wear it on my shoulder, but it's not the most comfy way to wear it.

BTW on ENews Weekend last night, the fashion presenter said she thought the Muse was the MOST coveted bag for 2006 and 'very hard to get'!

I bought the (ysl) natural raffia square buckle belt yesterday. I had my eye on it for a few weeks, and caved in yesterday.

coco - i just saw in the april elle mag (US) a model holding the white muse in a summertime setting. i thought it looked great with what she was wearing and throught the white muse "fits" the season very well. i didn't purchase the mag so i can't scan you a pic (i am waiting for my subscription to arrive) but if you have that mag, it's towards the last half of the mag.

hehe, the fever of Muse just grew on me day by day since I got my hands on the white oversize one. My SA just called me said she held olive one which is also over size but is not called muse, it is called Yris in Olive. So I can use that shoulder strap sometimes.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this thread!
I actually like the Yris! There's a pic of it one pg back. It's not as smooth/plain on the front like the Muse, so to me it makes it more interesting and more "balanced" (if that makes sense). I also love the white and tan color.... and I think white might be easier to wear than olive. Either way, you can't go wrong!
