Okay - so I did it. I ordered a white and a chocolate xl muse. Both of them NON-monogramed. That way if I don't like them I can return them to NM. The monogram (while nice) seemed like too much of a gamble for a bag i've never seen IRL. I only want to keep one, either the white or chocolate - so this way I figure I had my bases covered.

The thing is my brother likes bags. But, if it's for women, he's not gonna use it. It does look a lot like a men's bag. So, I was just curious. The thing is I was kinda amazed that someone said that the men's Muse was out. It's because they're gonna start selling them in the Fall collection. But, there are Muse briefcases and whatnot. My brother has the new YSL wallet. It has the "Y" on it. So, do you think the bag would look great on men? I love my Muse bags. But, for a girl, that square bag on Pollyanna isn't my style. It's too big. But, my brother is into Goyard and Louis Vuitton men's bags. So, do you think it can pull off as a Men's bag?

I already have the leopard hobo in that collection. I also want to buy the Black Muse with the silver hardware when it comes out in Kuwait or London. I don't have a black Muse because I never liked the Black. But, the one with the silver hardware looks nice. I already have 2 white Muse bags and a bronze one.

Well, all the Muse bags (except the silver metallic) had golden hardware. Now, the Black Muse has silver hardware. I always like golden hardware with black. But, the Muse looks nicer and more chic with the silver hardware.

Who said that the black Muse is going to have silver hardware now? I haven't seen/heard any information about that anywhere. Has anyone seen one IRL? If you are referring to the bag in the link above, the bag with the silver hardware is the metallic muse, not the black.

that bag is terrible, imho.

the funniest thing about this bag/design is that it looks SO different from color to print to finish, whatever. i completely love it in some colors and it grosses me out in others.

i don't think i've ever felt this way about any other bag. usually, if i love the design/style of the bag, i'll like it across the board.

I know! I never liked the Black Muse. My aunt even has a black Crocodile Muse. Yet, I never liked it. But, the silver hardware on the Black Muse looks nicer than the golden hardware on the Black Muse. The first color I bought was white from Paris in November. A lot of people on this forum don't like the white Muse for some reason. I also have the Yris (It looks similar to the Bugatti) in white. But, I want to get a black Muse because I want a black one. I want to get the Oversized one because I can use it in the summer in for travelling or the beach. I also use my Balenciaga travel bag for the beach. It's very warm in Kuwait. It's like 100 degrees now. So, we swim like 3 times a week in the Chalet. In the summer, it gets up to like 130 degrees. It's insane! Lol!

This bag is not the black Muse. It looks exactly like my metallic pewter/anthracite bag. And the metallic has silver hardware on it. I have the Spring/Summer YSL catalogues and they are exactly the same as the slideshow that was posted above. This bag is not listed as black, it's a metallic. Perhaps the bag appears darker on some computer monitors.

beauxgoris, I honestly do not think that there is a black muse with silver hardware. I don't know how all of this talk started, but I think the information is wrong. It appears to me as if someone looking at the slideshow posted above mistook the metallic pewter/anthracite muse (which DOES have silver hardware), for a black muse. The Spring/Summer bags have hit stores, and all the black muses all have gold hardware, not silver. I haven't heard anything about black muses with silver hardware for fall either.

ok this is the only forum that I feel the most comfy in BUT I get to meet Stella McCartney!!! Neimans is having an event here in Dallas.....and its for her...and she will be there and I get to meet her! Now what to wear! I am going to post in the fendi b bag too...to cover all ground bc I am proud!!!!
