The Muse is definitely a "grownup" bag. There's nothing flashy or trendy about it. It's classy and refined, yet it still manages to look very fresh at the same time.

Well, my oversized white Muse was $1295. My medium bronze Bugatti was $1595. My medium white Yris was $1795. I really don't know why the Yris is the most expensive bag of them all. I mean, it's a medium-sized bag. I think it's because of the stitching. Anyway, my dad got me a new YSL bag when he came back from Paris last week. I already posted the bag in the Purse Forum. They told him that the bag isn't out yet. My dad knows nothing about bags. He knows I buy the newest bags; so he wanted to get me something I didn't have. There are tons of times where he got me something I already have. Anyway, in the Purse Forum, no one knew the bag. 2 or 3 days ago, someone said that they saw this bag. She said that she saw it in black and that the white one is much cuter. She also said that the bag was $3000. I so wanna know what the name is. Is it from the Fall 2006 collection? I'm a big YSL fan. I probably own more YSL bags than any other brand. I'm in and out of the boutique like every 2 weeks. So, I'll know if I've ever seen that bag. I didn't even see it online. It has the same padlock as the Muse. I would never personally buy that bag. It's too grownup. I'm just 18 years old. But, I kinda like it now. The detailing (stitching) is amazing. Anyway, have any of you ever seen this bag?

There are Black and Brown Oversized Muse at NM in Troy MI today.
There was also some square muse looking bags, and the leopard pattern bag (shapes like Oversized bag, without a lock in the front), if anyone's interested

Hey wintotty. I love the square Muse bag. I already ordered one. I was going to get it for my brother since people on here said that it was a men's bag. But, the SA told me that it was for women. The Muse bags for men will debut in the fall. There are the Tanger totes for men right now. But, the square Muse is more unisex. I won't use as a handbag though. I'll use it this summer for like travelling and so on. I'll put my essentials in there. Last year, I put my essentials in my Balenciaga travel bag. Anyway, I found a brown square Muse that I didn't like. So, I ordered a black one. It should be here any day now. I'll post it when it arrives. Has anyone ever posted a square Muse bag?

But I carried it around about 10 min at the store, and it started to glow on me. I don't know it's weired. Now I really LOVE it, and don't want to carry my Edith at all.....

Would love the chocolate as it's good for everyday and matches black/brown/white/red coat etc but.......

is the oversized too large for me? (I don't like the medium so it's either the large or XL)

I'm 5 feet 1.5 inches tall and weigh about 93 pounds (42 kilos)???

^ I'm 5'2" (slightly bigger than you, 110 pounds ) but I think the XL muse looks great. If you like larger bags, I'd definatly go for it!

Part of the appeal of the YSL muse bag is they play up their ENORMOUS-SIZE factor, and it drives the women wild. With such a subdued bag, with minimal flashy quirks to it, a gigantic size makes it "BAM!!".

At the same time, you do NOT want a bag that is so large it dwarfs you and looks awkward, not to mention hard to carry or place when you're out in public.

I am 5'7'' and 125, I am very thin, and fairly tall, and when I tried on the Large muse in the boutique, it was indeed very large. In fact, I liked it because it was so GIGANTIC, it was larger than normal bags and drew attention. Any larger and it would have probably dwarfed me.

You are 5'1'' and about 90 pounds... honestly speaking, the oversize will be just TREMENDOUS on you, it will look like luggage, and it will NOT be an everyday bag, perhaps not even a weekly bag.

Next to me was a woman about my height, she was of "average/healthy" build, (maybe wears a size 6 or 8 in clothing?) and she was trying on the Large as well- and it too was a nice, large size on her. Perfect.

My best friend is your size, she's 5'1 and 95 pounds, rail thin, and all my bags look huge on her.

I suggest trying on th bags in person, if you REALLLLLLY want the Large or Oversize. The medium would be GORGEOUS on you. In fact, I myself want a Dark Brown Medium for everyday use. (And a Large white for about 3-4 times a week usage)
