I'll be in Paris June 11th through July 15th with my sister and her new husband (he's from Paris). I have NEVER been to Paris and they are NOT shoppers.

Do you think I'll have a better chance of getting a red Muse while I'm there? Red is no longer available for pre-order on Saks.com. Also, can anyone suggest where to look or who to call while I'm in Paris aside from the obvious YSL boutique?

Glad to hear the fall colors are coming in early. Maybe I can nab a red one here in L.A. before my trip .

Definitely go to Galleries Layfayette (dept. store) while in Paris - it's the biggest bang for the buck shopping-wise (and a stunning store besides!)

i'm inlove.... it's so beautiful. i think olive could be a very versatile, year round color.

the olive is out...but NM didn't do it...it was a YSL only thing from my understanding

okay I called YSL 57th streets. Yes the shipments have started coming in. Shoot me now....the XL oak is already in. Not red...but the white and black patents are in but in Large not XL.

what the heck....its TOO EARLY for prefall.

So there you go. The oak is available at YSL 57th...maybe Madison but I didn't call that store.

and if you want a large patent they are in too.

so nuts. I was hoping this would come August.

since demand is up I am guessing they want to shoot the prefall out fast to sell. I am not ready for this stuff. Hopefully its a mini shipment and the big shipments come late. If all these bags and shoes come out now I am not going to be happy. I needed this summer break not to buy and worry about fall crap. seriously.

but i think that these are just mini-shipments. the oversized bags aren't out yet, right? i'm sure they're waiting for the appropriate time.

the oak oversized is out. which is good for that because its summery not fall...but that is out.

the patent XL isn't out yet...

patent is so fall I wish they would delay that till aug/sept seriously.

I hope maybe only NYC is getting mini shipments like they did with the DADA for whatever reason.

I left a vm for the manager at YSL houston to see what she has to say.

I am TOTALLY baffled...this is too crazy for me.

They will start to get the stuff in now and they want to have most of the collection on display for when the sale season starts next month. This week Bond Street has received some boots and skirts.

it's been awhile since i've been on fsh...wow, the muse has really taken off. i still haven't used my white one that i purchased last year. i haven't sprayed it yet either and am wondering if anyone recommends appleguard over vectra or vice versa? thanks also, love that olive! thanks for the pics

ok YSL update. Called my manager.

She has no notice that has been given to her that the oak has shipped.....so she doesn't know how or why or whatever NY got it...she was thinking maybe its really the chocolate. Who knows.

The large white and black patent should be hitting all stores very shortly.....NYC has it...but all the others should be getting shortly.

The white XL patent has been shipped out of Paris so it should be in the next 2 weeks?

Black XL patent has not shipped...but she imagines by mid June the black patent will be in.

She said runway will st art shipping in July like shoes and stuff. Everything should be in by mid August.

Sept/Oct is like not much evening stuff she said as it comes in last. Maybe the slow shippers.

But she said YSL is shipping early and fast this season so get your seatbelts on, get your credit cards out and get ready to spend spend spend.

Its funny because Alexander McQueen ships out SLOW, Prada...the big runway hits come first in like July and things slowly come in over the next few months....Manolo reopens its store after sale Mid Aug with a whole new collection

that is totally insane....BUT do we have to worry with YSL? i mean their production never seems that limited. even if deliveries start now, i would bet that you could still buy it in august, i thought...i mean, was it hard to get any particular muse in any color this year? i felt that they were abundant- which is good because the love is def. very widespread.

pucci-balenciaga is the SLOWEST.

well just for example...YSL Houston is getting like 3 XL black patents and 3 XL white patents and they are all reserved and done with a long list.

the red muse they are only getting like 20 or something in the entire company.

so YSL is limited.....but if you work hard enough that is fine. Plus saks, berg, and neimans order too.

so that is that....I was hoping the shoes would come like Sept. but I guess July is okay.

worry is relative.....they are probably shipping fast bc they are hot hot hot right now....and they want to keep that up.

and fendi is a slow shipper...are the b belts even in yet?

and maybe...these are just coming fast and it will get slow...they might have had them ready, etc
