daisy - don't worry! i saw tons and tons of muses at bev hills YSL..
there was the leopard (dauphin?), white, black, brown, the ones with the Y on the side.. in all the different sizes.. oversized, medium, small, and a mini size..

they also displayed a brown and a white ostrich.. soft but sturdy..so stunning that it made the regular leathers look almost ugly next to them.. they are about $5000.. the SA said a very limited number of the ostrich were made (10 or sth??).. is that true? Also, will the muse become a permanent style for YSL?

its the first time i tried one on.. this is probably old news to you guys but i felt like it really compliments and pulls an outfit together.. timeless.. practical too..

I just got a YSL thing in the mail...with pics, etc they had a croc and ostrich Mombasa..it was so beautiful.

I would love a brown ostrich. love one.

^there is a picture in this month's (well, the april one with jennifer aniston on the cover) vogue, candids of someone at the fashion shows, and she has an ostrich muse tucked under her chair in one of the pictures. It's got the slightly slouched look going, it's STUNNING.

My muse should be here on Tuesday or so, I'm going to dream about it all weekend....

Thanks, Pinky! Yeah, I called my YSL and they just got a few more in so I'm good. And I put in a call to Nordstrom and they're checking around for me.

Even though this is labeled an "it" bag, I do think it's more timeless too. It doesn't THRILL me like some of my other trendy bags but this one will last a while and will work really well as a work or play bag for me.

I think of getting a YSL Muse but I do not know what color to get or size. I was wondering what you think of oversize one is it too large . I am petite (5"0). Any advice would be helpful....

I'm only 5ft too and I got an oversized one! Granted, I haven't seen it yet, it's in the mail, but I'll let you know when it gets here.
