i must admit, the first time i saw the muse, i thought... "hmm, okay. nice bag". now, i am completely inlove with it! i finally got my first muse...a large black one. i'm working my way up to an oversize. baby steps....

by friday, i will be a "muser" too (quoting guccigal).

I thought the same thing! I thought it was so plain and I didn't like the flat bottom compared tot he curvyish bag. Now I'm love

I went with brown because it was easier to get, and I'm super happy with the decision, but, I think the muse is stunning in white. And I didn't have a white bag until a different one I bought this fall,and it's amazing how much I love using that other white bag. I'm totally a fan of white bags in winter. I think it's easier to pull off a white bag in winter than a dark colored bag in the middle of summer, in my opinion.

Thanks again! I didn't know the white ones were harder to get but I think I'm tending more toward the brown tho. I'm just picturing all those times I go into an Italian restaurant and slurping on some pasta, lol! Would hate to get sauce on a white bag. Ok, maybe I'm not that messy.. but my DH is! He constantly tries to shove too much onto the fork and lo and behold, half of it slops back down onto the plate. I regularly have to check myself for splatter.

I wasn't too impressed by the Muse either but lately I've fallen in love! Funny how at first I was put off by the rather bland design but now that's what I like most about it. And I don't think it's bland anymore, but simple and classic.

it's definitely the subtle design that make us feel like that at first glance... but when i saw the bag in person, the quality and thoughtful details changed my mind. its just a classic design without the fuss. i am definitely a fan!

Yeah...the keys had not been a thought until a friend bought one and only got one key and she threw a fit!

But...my newly embossed lover just came back to me in the mail last night, and I am so thrilled! the initial embossing is really subtle and looks just like it was meant to be...lust

I'll take some photos today and post them...there was an embossing event last Thursday at YSL 57th and I gave them my muse and my initials...YEAH!

I think two or three keys is pretty standard...if someone only got one I would probably ask for another, although I don't really know how many you "need"...but it's the principle, right?!

I'm really starting to love the Muse especially the white and brown. I do have concerns about the white getting dirty though. Those of you who have the white Muse, is there a problem with colour transfer say from your jeans or other items of clothing? And the handles.. do they tend to get yellowish after a while due to use? I know the lighter Balenciaga colours get like that in their handles and that's kinda off-putting to me.

The brown Muse.. that's a very dark brown colour, isn't it? Can someone pls post a pic of the brown? I like the black too but have some black bags already so hoping to get one of the other colours. And if the brown is quite dark, that would be lovely!

Crazy_Cool - I'll jump in since I'm browsing this thread....here's a pic of a large oversized brown I just bought (from YSL in HI). For reference, next to it is a brown Bottega hobo....both are brown, the MUSE is much darker in comparison (dare I say, like dark chocolate vs. milk chocolate, since I'm hungry?) I *LOVE* this bag. It's perfect for travel - very light, functional. Now I want a medium white one, and a large caramel ostrich.
