haha! well with me...at night when I go out..I don't want any bag at dinner (wine fun) so I always carrya clutch...when I go out shopping, etc casual dinner...I don't care the size of my bag...I just like bigger.

oh my gold mcqueen boots are in...won't make it out today...so I will have them friday on approval.

back on topic. I am glad to know the muse colors. I really only want to get 2 bags next season MAX and I want a red bag. Muse and Mombas are good prices so its not like its a major dang it...like the spy bags

hey there! I am excited about the white patent bc patent I think it easier to keep clean...esp bc its distressed so it won't be white white white.

Great...its only April and I have 4 bags I want. Oh well. I will get it narrowed. At least YSL bags aren't that bad. I for sure want a red muse XL and the orange mombasa! and probably the white patent

do you have any idea what the distressed patent looks like? i can't really imagine that... is it like, patent leather that's creased/crackled? kind of like a glazed balenciaga?

I think its patent leather that is crackled...but not clue. no pics yet or anything. I know the Houston store started a list for me today for all my bags! Brian, pm me if you want some help with Houston YSL

Crazy_Cool - I'll jump in since I'm browsing this thread....here's a pic of a large oversized brown I just bought (from YSL in HI). For reference, next to it is a brown Bottega hobo....both are brown, the MUSE is much darker in comparison (dare I say, like dark chocolate vs. milk chocolate, since I'm hungry?) I *LOVE* this bag. It's perfect for travel - very light, functional. Now I want a medium white one, and a large caramel ostrich.

Thanks WingNut! Oooh, I love this brown. It's so dark! I'm still not sure about which colour tho.. I don't have any white bags and the white Muse is gorgeous. Also from what I've read it's not too bad to keep clean. But the choc is luscious and verstatile. Argh! Help me chose ppl, please!

The new colours sound dreamy too. Red is my fav colour but I already have a red Balenciaga and would prefer a more neutral Muse. Hmm, wonder what the Oak is like? Is it like tan or darker/lighter/more yellow? Anyone knows?

Forgot to add.. the distressed patent sounds very interesting too and I can't wait to see pics of it. But for my 1st Muse, I think I'll stick with just the normal leather. Are the black, white and dark brown going to be staple colours for the Muse? Or will they be replaced by the new colours?

guccigal, thanks for the update on the prefall/fall bags! i'm having problems picturing distressed patent, but i just cleaned out my bag closet (yes, i have a bag closet! ) and thinking i need a red bag... then voila!! a red xl muse for prefall! yea! so houston ysl is taking preorders already? anyone in particular i need to speak to? (have family in houston and it's my home away from home)

houston isn't taking names for anyone yet...only people that have spend $$ there...I would wait a few weeks...and then call. and its good to call vegas and NYC and big stores...because they get more in. Small stores tend to only put clients on the list.

hey! I live in Dallas actually...but no YSL store there.

I think the distressed patent sounds great. The manager has gone on and on about it several times!

As for staple colors...white buffalo leather I don't think is...she didn't mention black or chocolate for fall....only oak...a lighter brown.

My official list is : oversize muse in red, white patent oversize muse and orange mombasa!

Other than that.....I have no other handbags I really want. I do want a Novak bag...and I would love a nice green Fendi spy or some sort. But we will see.

The YSL rep at BG told me the pre-fall Muse will be the same shape, but for fall the bag will be more angular with a small flap top and a long strap. You can see pics on Style.com (check out the detailed shots). I wasn't able to upload the pics. I wonder if I should hold off for the new shape ... Arrrgh!
