I think the thing with the Ivory Muse is that it makes anyone look better. I mean just look at Pam Anderson and her Ivory Muse.

very classy bag.

pam anderson + ivory muse = classy

:innocent:

^^Well no........ Not that it makes her "classy" per se (let's not take this too far!) - but it helps her situation if you know what I mean. te hee....

 the power of the muse!

Which is color is better in the Muse? Black or Chocolate? I feel like it's a near impossible question to answer but I can't decide between the 2.

I personally prefer the black. The chocolate if fantastic too.

you have to ask yourself....do you wear black or brown more.

I love brown but NEVER wear it.

report on brown patent muse:

i saw it IRL today at the SF store. they only had it in the large size. it's very pretty - chocolaty brown that looks burgundyish in their store lighting.

:D Can't agree more.
I personally love the ivory Muse in any size, but I'm afraid that its too high maintenance for me. If there was a never-will-get-dirt-on variety of white, please lemme know :D

I have the dark chocolate Muse, and honestly, when I first saw it in the boutique I thought it was black. It is a rich, dark brown, and now that I have it, I will prefer it over black anytime for its timelessness and character.

^^I agree. The black is nice (well any muse is nice) - but the Chocolate is something special. It looks like black in certain light and a deep rich Chocolatey brown in brighter light. It just has a certain something extra to it if you know what i mean.

I took this picture from my YSL pre-fall catalougue, I'm really liking the patent Muse.

Did you see it at the YSL store? Did it look like a distressed patent? I have been SO interested in this bag and would love to see it IRL. Do you know if they accept returns or is it a store credit thing? Sorry for all the questions! TIA:flower:

judging by the pic of the patent muse from the catalogue, i really can't tell the difference between it and my normal black. both have that sheen. maybe the patent looks different irl.

I have seen the large black in real life. its soft patent. its def more shiney, etc than the leather one

JANYOUNG Ysl gives you a 10 day full refund

jan - it is distressed patent, unlike the bfendi patent. it's very pretty IRL, esp the chocolate patent one. i had to pass on it though as i have my eye set on other items. ;) 10 days return. and i saw this at the SF YSL store, on maiden lane.

They had the yellow suede muse on sale for $895.. do you think suede will get ruined and the yellow too gimicky? Should I just get the ivory?

I think the yellow is fab. I don't know if I would want it for winter but fun summer bag. same with the white.

I do think the suede has potential to rub off on clothes. I dont know. Seeing Nicole Richi carrying it makes me want one. Its fab

I don't think yellow is gimicky at all. I think its very chic. I think it could even wear well into fall and winter. I am picturing it against all black, and i love it!

I like the yellow but the suede really bugs me. I think it will rub off on clothes and vice versa. I also dont know how wearable it is, I'd get it as a second muse once you have a more neutral one. You should get the ivory, I  mine. Or black patent, thats my second choice!
