the taupe is such a pretty color though. if i could get this bag, i would get the taupe.

yeaa.. but somehow, it sorta look metallic. i don't really like metallic bags. have any1 seen this IRL? pls let me know

Oooh, that burgundy patent color posted a few pages back is gorgeous. Is it available now or for fall? I'm usually not a huge fan of patent but I really like it with this bag for some reason.

jan - it's beautiful! i saw it in the SF store a few weeks ago. you got the large right? i can't wait to see pics of this, since i was only able to see it in the YSL store under dim light conditions.

I was at the South Coast Plaza YSL store yesterday and must comment on the patent Muses....AMAZING!! very beautiful in real life that I managed to pursuade my other half into buying me one soon..I was having hard decisions about getting a Muse at first because I felt it was a bit too plain. I'm totally won over now though..its very gorgeous and classy in real life..especially the patent!

Aren't they!! I'm not a fan of anything patent but the Muse's in patent are stunning! I wonder if its the leather. It just looks better than any other patent bags I've seen.

you mean my muse #2, the white one? no, not yet, my debate about it has swung again in favor of not getting a second one, we all know I change my mind like crazy though...so stay tuned!

It arrived!! I SO love it. I am on my way out of town and have a million things to do so pics will have to wait until I return It is so very different than my med ivory that I don't feel like I have two of the same bag. I love that the patent is distressed. In daylight, it looks very chocolate brown - a burgundy tinge in artificial light. Thanks, Shopping, for posting about seeing it. YSL didn't charge me any tax or for shipping (3 day select UPS).

I saw the patents in the store today and I love the look of the patents. Our store here doesn't carry the burgundy patent though.

Still I feel that my wardrobe doesn't work well with the XL muse. I'm only 5'2" and always in short skirts or capris and I find the Muse works best with taller people or someone who wears long pants/jeans. And I only like the size of the XL.

^i agree the patents are gorgeous. i saw the burgandy one this weekend irl. it was so pretty. it was soft patent leather, not the hard kind.
kare, give the large a try. it's still a great size if you find the xl too big.

kare, I find that the muse holds a lot from sizes M-XL. Maybe you'll like to try on the other sizes just to see if they work out for you
