So.... I JUST got off the phone with the SA at Saks in Beverly Hills. I asked if she had any RED muse in stock. She said they did not... but she had one "Large BURGUNDY" in stock. She explained that it is clearly burgundy and very different from the red in her look book. She also said that the item is described as "burgundy" and the other is described as "red." She said that ALL of the Saks have ONLY sold burgundy... no reds in stock yet.

I believe the purse posted above #2581 is burgundy. The original poster, Goldensx5, (the picture came from "the purse forum") even called her bag "new Fall '06 Burgundy Large Muse."

So, I still don't think we've seen the RED MUSE on this site yet (heehee).

Last week, I said that I ordered the red Muse. Anyway, they called me today and told me that it arrived. When I saw it, it was more burgandy than red. It was dark red. I didn't want that color. I wanted the normal red Muse. But, they only had it in medium. Therefore, I didn't want it. The red Muse is kinda like orangish-red. It's kind of light. But, it's way prettier than the darker version. That's what I think though.

I haven't worn my muse at all this summer since I don't carry around a lot during this time of year and it's just much too hot for a big bag. But I was just trying on some fall outfits (yes, that's what I do after watching an episode of Project Runway), and I can't wait to bring my Muse back into the rotation. This bag never ceases to amaze me.

So far I have only seen one red (burgundy) and I don't really like it, the picture mundo posted is pretty much the color IRL. If anyone has the picture of other red please post some I would love to see.

Btw I finish my shopping day and head back to the hotel with my oversized black patent muse...love it . Will post some pictures when I get home.

i finally saw the chocoate patent at neiman marcus sf...
not in the muse of course, but still...
it's gorgeous in person...a brown with burgundy undertones...
now i'm excited to see it in the muse!

This is my first post on this site, but I just want to say that you guys have helped me so much -- I have bought a sand linen Muse in Medium and an Oversize in Chocolate, thanks to your insight!

When I was in the YSL boutique, I also saw that the red in Large also has an accessory.

It's a cell-phone holder in a matching red leather, with an identical mini-lock on the front -- almost like a mini-Muse on your Muse! It hooks onto a front handle ring. Adorable!

The SA said they would be getting them only in red and chocolate. Can anyone confirm?!
