Nice bag, but wouldn't the strap opening things be annoying? It's really quite a traditional styled bag but it uses the soft leather and I imagine you would lose more of the structure with use.....can anyone with this bag comment?

seahorse, I will try to post pics as soon as I can, DH is still annoyed with my YSL loot from yesterday.

water_daisy, the clasps are probably thie only complaint that I have about the MuseTwo, you are right, it is a little difficult to open and close especially when walking around. The leather panel portion is really soft, and I can imagine this bag softening with further use.

PrincessImp - what did you think of the Majorelle? I saw that you go the besace. I like the look of that one too. Is it heavy?

water_daisy, I have seen pictures of the Majorelle, but not one IRL. I think a white Majorelle will be the perfect summer bag but a black patent one will be classic!
The besace is not heavy at all and it's a medium size bag..though it can a be little on the heavy side if it's packed full.

Totalli classy, hot bag IMO. I just pre-ordered from bergdorf.com I love the croc part and the sophistication of the colorway - they call that the croc part "green". Can't wait for it to arrive!!! Congrats to everyone on their gorgeous new YSL's.

princessimp- gorgeous bags! i saw both today, and the embossed gray is AMAZING! light and functional!

the muse II is nice, but a pain to get in and out of, imho. the mix of textures is great though.

Does anyone know when the camel will be available? I saw it in the March issue of US Bazaar and am dying for it!! I am in love with this bag, the leather looks amazing, can't wait to see it in person.

Does this wear like a Hermes Kelly? You can't carry it open, right?

^Right, you can't carry it wide open since the top handle is on the flap that opens the bag.

it should've come with a removable shoulder strap like the kelly.

I agree the convenience isn't there... I tend to stay away from bags I can't open while it's on my arm. I am loving the proportions though, not so much the exotic leathers.

It is inconvenient but I kinda got used to it after a while.
I just open and close the main clasp on the opening flap itself, and just leave the 2 straps unbuckled.
It's starting to soften now with some use and I really enjoy the velvety texture of the nubuck front panel, though I suppose I should spray some protectant on it soon!
