Zac Posen S/S 08 NYC

No straight man would dress women up like Barbie, that's for sure.

OMG, that's what his clothes remind me of

He looks like hes desperately to become French and copy Galliano, which is near impossible. But that doesnt suggest that the clothes are ugly, in fact a lot of them are beautiful.

Oh look, he's doing subtlety for spring.

Honestly, people throw around the phrase drag-queen with Galliano...this stuff is a lot more like the drag queens (or is that pageant queens) I've seen.

With him it's like, not every dress needs to look like it came out of the MGM costume vault.

I've come to one conclusion; he keeps working on the pieces to the point that there's nothing else that can actually be done to them.....eventually one runs out of fabric to tuck, pleat, fluff, flare and scallop.

I completely agree on all counts. He's one of the few NYC designers I absolutely abhore.

i usually like his collections --but i think he's turned into a bit of a red-carpet wh*re...i'm SURE we'll be seeing this all over during awards season.

this is all so...random...
spike...maybe he should start working for mattel...:innocent:

i like it...,but then i dont. its very different. it seems like this has all been done before except he did a BLAHH job.

ergh...I seriously dislike this...he should focus more on daywear cause they're not looking as bad as his kitchen sink gown collection...the finale dyed dresses look like diseases are growing on them.

yes, I agree. usually he is too much and costumey.

I do like the dyed fabric at the end, just not anything he did with it!

The colors of those last gowns are actually the one thing I like.

I can totally appreciate the skill it took to construct and detail these pieces, especially the gowns. However there is a fine line between skill and talent.

He kind of reminds me of Austin Scarlett from Project Runway...stuck in a world of drama, drama, drama and lots of old movies with no basis in the here and now.
