Zadig & Voltaire S/S 2014 Paris

I cringed when looking at this. The whole show is a blatant copy of last season's SLP. So awkward.

Cecilia Bönström worked leather, chain mail knits and snakeskin prints to mostly familiar effect for Zadig & Voltaire’s spring lineup. A series of short leather skirts and light, sometimes asymmetric, dresses exuded a boyish flair when paired with heavy ranger boots.

More interesting were the metallic Bermuda suits that came without lapels, while slightly slouchy pantsuits — in either soft leather or allover matte sequins — provided a laid-back feel. Fringed knit ponchos reminded that this was a Wild West-inspired collection.

Its like they looked up pictures of Kate Moss in her days with Pete Doherty and copied her outfits straight into this collection. Very lackluster.
