sorry I couldn't find the pictures I saw, but Marc Jacobs did a top that had exposed back zippers for FW07. He uses the same details on at least one top every season actually.

i always think that while front zippers often times look sporty, back zippers can look very sexy.

most of these designers don't...

I can't afford designer clothing, thats the whole point. H&M and other high street stores copy like crazy, and when I only see mini skirts and zippers, I'm not happy.

I saw that your comment was considered somewhat insulting by others, I didn't take it that way.

anyway...
i don't see how zippers are unflattering in any size...?
most of the items posted here would look good on the general public at large...
*except maybe that multi zip miniskirt...
but that is certainly more of an 'editorial' piece and not exactly something you can expect to find at the gap...



let's keep in mind...
maybe things that are runway trends become fashion stories in magazines...
and never actually get worn by the general public...
or the trend gets interpreted for the masses in another way...
ie- bags with lots of exposed zips or shoes with a zip up the back....etc...

these are only the seeds....
we will see what grows out of it by the time it hits the streets
