I think I need one.

it's just really cold outside and I don't want to hear hats. but I work at an office and even though the dress code is often broken, I still want something that's not too sporty.. I love the Maria Cornejo looks in the first page.. I wish I could find something like that.. something that's not too thick and has a different colour and material than your average hoodie.. but not that attention-grabbing just so I can pair it down with a nice jacket, a blouse, dress or a coat and don't look strangely messy or wintery in a cheesy way.

I agree. I'm not seeing it so much here where I live, as it's been very warm but I've been keeping my eye out for hoods in streetstyle pics of the sites I frequent. I really like the trend because it brings a level of chic comfort. I love the look of it especially if it's with an otherwise non-casual outfit.

I am loving all of these hooded coats around at the moment. They're feminine, but the sporty hood gives it an edge. I'd really like a red slouchy dress with a hood. I know the whole red riding hood thing may not appeal to everyone, but I think it could look fantastic!

Before entering this thread I thought it was about hooded sweatshirts, silly me So I am pleasantly surprised..

Now that I think about it I have actually seen quite some streetstyle pics where the hoods are worn up, but unfortunately I've had no such look IRL..
I have a knitted grey cape thingy with a hood that I've worn up quite a few times with a jacket under.. It's incredible cosy and warm..

I love, love , love hoods too. The hood is in the design, of course. I have a great raincoat with a hood, but it doesn't fit correctly. Where it clasps under my chin makes the hood fall back and up on my head, thus ruining the whole reason for the hood. On the other hand, I have a really great vintage hooded reversible jacket where the hood is just perfect. I'm ready for more hooded everything--shirts, jackets, dresses, and coats.
