First Bella Hadid, Now Zoë Kravitz Is Hopping on the Hiking Boot Trend

The spirit of the great outdoors has been in the air both on the runway and the street, with designers and street style stars elevating the classic fleece jacket and all-weather parka. It seems that this newfound appreciation for the most practical pieces in our closet has begun percolating in the footwear department as well. The combat boot has been on the rise since the summer, for example, paving the way for more traditional alternatives including the hiking boot. Bella Hadid has been known to lace up in a pair by Off-White, and today, Zoë Kravitz took it one step further when she stepped out in a similar rugged version by Fila.

What set Kravitz’s hiking boot apart was the classic camel hue—infinitely fresher than basic black. She kept things casual with joggers, but traded a hoodie for a roll-neck knit, a style that’s also been seen on Selena Gomez lately. Kravitz was smart to add an ultra-polished tote and slick Matrix-inspired sunglasses, though her crowning accessory—a classic beanie—read more form meets function.

Totally agree. I was convinced she could pull off anything... but this just looks like a structured rendition of a very, very saggy leotard.
