Fantastic clothes.
I was wondering - who first made popular that sort of billowing torso that only appears in the very first picture in this thread?
It was fashionable around the 1910s I think. The sort of dress the Tsarina and Queen Mary were seen wearing with a string of pearls.

Parisian Designer Jeanne Lanvin
Jeanne Lanvin, one of the most noted Paris fashion designers, has been made an officer of the Legion of Honor, the first couturier ever to hold that rank. Mme. Lanvin began her career as a dressmaker and reached the top of her profession after years of effort. She is shown at her desk in her Paris establishment.
