List 'em here! I'll bump the 2008 thread so that those who made resolutions for the past year can review and evaluate. :flower:

I have half accomplished my 2008 style resolution (wearing the things I like and not caring about what people will say). I'll just keep working on it this year.

1. I want to acquire more interesting pairs of shoes, tricky because I have weird size 8 feet and most stores seem to run out of my size, but I'm going to try harder this year. I also want to try and raise my daily heel height.
2. I want to wear more outfits full of interesting layers, layered tops of shirts over leggings, that sort of thing.
3. I also need to take more risks with my personal style and wear some of the forgotten stuff that's been floating around my wardrobe.
4. I want to invest in more quality clothing, not necessarily high-street, but smaller labels which aren't on the masses. Hopefully by spending less of my wages at Topshop, and scouring ebay, I can achieve this.
5. Get my blog up and running and figure out a niche.
I think that's it for now.

-Wear more of my clothes,as opposed to just a small percentage of them most of the time
-Wear heels more often
-Be less scared of taking risks

I want to start collecting clothes seriously.
I have the pieces that I need, and now I want to start adding truly special pieces that I could hold onto for years: antique (namely edwardian - love!) dresses and blouses; vintage designer; pieces from my favorite collections of the past decade (some Balenciaga, Lanvin, Marc J).

i only got one thing - stop caring. not feel the need to be perfectly dressed up everyday.
maybe try to wear jeans.

i have lots and lots and lots. i prefer thinking of them as goals though, not so much resolutions. that way, i can keep striving and not feel like i'm being "unsucceful" in keeping a promise to myself.

anywho, here goes my list:
1. care more about how i dress daily, and start my stylediary again
2. eat less crap (candy!) and cook more
3. clean up daily
4. read more
5. work out at least every other day
6. learn to play the guitar and make more songs
7. keep a journal
8. do kick-*** awesome at my german tests, so i can graduate this summer
9. buy more records and actually listen to them / keep up with what's going on in music
10. get up early each day, so i can get earlier home from work and enjoy more of the day.
11. be better at keeping up with friends
12. travel!
13. learn to sew, so i can make my own clothes!

ooh, i guess i just need to improve on... everything.

i love this thread...
i want to see more posts in here...:p

i'll think about mine and come back!..

:flower:

1. Eat healthier
2. Run/ work out everyday
3. Better posture
4. Read at least one book a month
5. Develop a personal style that is unique to me. Nothing flashy, trashy or trendy...just something that says 'me.' Like StellaMare mentioned, I'd like the create a wardrobe for myself that is unique and special. I want to shop at thrift stores and second hand shops more often, etc.
6. Get into Parsons!!! (Although that's a more short term goal!)

Taking care of myself.
More basics. Some great jeans would be welcome.
Wearing everything I have instead of what I always wear.

1.) Find an internship for the summer
a. Inquire about future internships
2.) Exercise everyday:muscles:
3.) Continue to learn about fashion
4.) Do a lot of DIY projects
5.) Create an amazing wardrobe
6.) Think positively!!!!
7.) Continue to get good grades

one, I've been working on hard and I feel really good about it...better posture.

Finish the Norton Anthology of Modern and Contemporary Poetry (~350 out of 2000 pages down)

Learn how to photograph things in less than optimal light

Learn some Adobe programs

Find more Marsell shoes

Focus on finding a job where I'm fairly compensated

Continue developing my Mexican cooking repertoire

Develop additional strategies to remain highly functional when depressed

Find a way to write freelance about films or some other interesting topic

I don't have any this year.

I just want to take life as it comes and make sure everything I choose to do makes me happy from now on (but not at the expensive of others). Pretty much what Rightguard listed, just "Thinking positively." I don't like resolutions because I tend to beat myself up if I don't follow them to a T.
