72 Magazine Issue #3 Spring 2026 : Kate Moss by Nick Knight

I didn't know what to expect when I opened the thread but I'm loving this :)

I like it, nothing WOW… Happy to see Kate without heavy airbrush.

It looks like Diane Von Furstenberg is on the reverse (or back) cover. Also, photographs from the various stories inside of the issue.

Another story inspired by Marilyn Monroe who also meet Madonna (or vice versa) on some night of drinks and dancing at some random jazz bar inside a decadent hotel lobby.

Looks like Nick paying tribute to Ellen von Unwerth’s photographic style but unfortunately fumbling so that it ends up more resembling Guess campaigns of the later 90s.The cover select is absolutely the strongest shot of the set so there's no denying Edward’s eye here— or whoever’s retouching Kate to resemble her 90s-self. I’ll give Edward, Nick and their retoucher that.

Shame can’t say the rest of the story lives up to the cover… The only other select that’s solid is the one of her on the piano; but that's really saying something when nearly most of her face is concealed in that shot. And when it takes that army of a team, with some of the once best creatives in the industry, and this is the result… it’s a damning testament to how Kate just doesn’t have it anymore. Or the team doesn’t care anymore. ...Or both. Most disappointed with Nick; he seems to either be self-sabotaging, or he's just no longer into it. Can't say I blame him.

If his first issue had looked like this, I imagine more people would have been into the magazine for its actual content, rather than the novelty of it being a new launch.

Sure, there would be complaints about seeing the 2026 version of Kate, but also the hope that Edward would be working again with all the names.

Miranda Priestly vibes below and on the other shoots she reminds me Madonna.

Nonetheless, Kate Moss is still photograph well.

Such a sad cover, really.

It's all terrible and I hate how boring Knight got, I often look at his older work recently and I do hate how low he fell with this one. He used to be the most creative of the British photographers and had incredibly unique style, but well, nothing lasts forever. All of his recent work feels so bland.

I agree with your view that the premiere covers of 72 were not the very best. Edward could have done so much more, especially, with the styling of the cover story. On the other hand, Edward featured an actress that I would not have expected on his premiere issue and a big superstar.

Nick Knight channeling Mert & Marcus better than the duo themselves. I like this cover

Omg Emninful’s Tacky72 comes again. And noone wanted it after seeing the first issue. Please can this tackiness stop!?!

I disagree with you. I've seen the two previous issues of 72 (and own both) and in my opinion they are definitely not tacky.
They might appear tacky in the tFS threads but they are well edited.

The spring 2026 issue of 72 is here!
