I liked Kate Winslett's dress the best, but I also like Blanchett's and Maggie Gyllenhall's dresses as well.

love love cate blanchett's dress and everything ; hated salma hayek's dress color; liked scartlet johansen's tiara but not the hairdo; didnt like laura linney's makeup; natalie portman- gorgeous; sandra oh, renee zellweger, emmy, i sooooo dont like your gowns-- its like that dress went into mass production, gwynnie paltrow also the dress-- i dont like, although she glows! julia roberts looks great!, so not liking the dress of hilary swank-- she has an awesome body back AND front, so i think she shouldve shown abit more...

I missed the oscars 
but I loved Charlize's , Kate's , Nathalie Portman's ,Hilary Swank's, Cate's , Gisele's, Maggie's and Vanessa's dress. They look so fabulous ! I didn't like Salma's whole make-up and hair , doesn't fit to her ... Penelope looked so boring

Well, Scarlett's dress was gorgeous and classy, and it really showed off her hourglass figure. But she would have looked better if she would have had a more sleek updo or at least loose ringlet curls, as opposed to those frizzy bangs.
I liked the majority of the dresses...but was surprised by the "mermaid" dresses - not a big fan of the mermaid dress.
Gisele's dress reminded me of that one that Jennifer Aniston wore to the Golden Globes...it looks a lot like it...I wish I had a photo of it to post...but the dresses are very similar.
I was very disappointed in Hilary Swank's choice. I did not like the front of the dress at all. Yeah, her back looks wonderful...but the dress was so BLAH in the front. I would have rather seen her in something that showed off her figure.
I don't like Natalie Portman's gown...it's not bad, but she could have done better. Gwyneth seemed washed-out in her gown - that color looks better on brunettes...but she still looked radiant.

at times I liked chris rock at others not. I thought his anti-bush materiel was pretty edgy, and brave.
I didnt understand his p diddy remark "sean have your accountant call me."" what does that mean?
why was diddy there? does he have anything to do with film?
beyonce is excellent in her own music & destinys but was awfuul tonight. agaibn, she was chosen to appeal to 'the mtv generation.'
i am a lot more impressed by classic hollywood. clint eastwood has been awesome since like the 1960s he is a personal hero of mine.
it was obnoxious the msuic kept cutting off important wiinners.
ive never seen a hillary swank movie but she must be good. better her than julia roberts. banderas & santana were ok but the winner should have sung his own song. thats why he sung it as his speech.
did you notice when blanchett won that gisele wasnt there next to leo? i winder why she left for that 1 award?
i found this to be an enjoyable show & many of the girls looked great. but not as many kooky moments or awful looks as often make the oscars fun. so its a nice show but not the best ever, except clint was the man & jamie foxx was incredible as ray charles, give him credit.
once youve seen natialie portman in person you never see her the same way. she is TINY & thats all i can ever think about whenever i see her. but gwyn looked good, penelope, ginny madsen, blanchett gisele all good; charlize was ok. zellwegger looked awful like jennifer tilly or worse. this was an enjoyable oscar but didnt have the wildly high or low moments as in some years except big ups to clint, swank & foxx.
