I've been shown at a few galleries in Florida and 3 shows here at the UHM gallery. Nothing major though... I'm just a student. I'm going to do the rounds in NYC with some slides though I think... Just to get some rejection training

:woot: I finished a necklace today, the picture is posted up on the "making your own jewerly" thread in the Accessories section.

I'm very satisfied on how it turned out, I was practically dancing for joy the whole day.

Sorry, I posted it again. Couldn't help it. :)

It's very beautiful. Do you make them to sell? I think Andy was talking about a topic where our members could market their talents. I'll let you know when I find out more. Isn't it amazing what you can find on this forum? :flower:

I can't wait to post my newest work, it's not quite finished yet though, it'll probably be done before i go up to Newcastle on the 23rd if i work on it some more today, and tomorrow night :) ! I'm really proud of it, its taken me a long time with outlining and all the filling in, longest time i've taken on a piece for a long time, i hope it comes out as i plan it to ^_^

cute necklace! I can never get the little o's on the end of the flat headed pins to be perfect like that...

hehehe... I get so bored when I don't have classes, last week I was making pompoms until my fingers bled...

this week I made a purse from an old scarf, a belt and a belt buckle I bought at a drag queen's garage sale...

here it is, not such a good pic of it, but you can get the idea.

Hello again, talented peoples of this forum. :flower: Just wanted to show you guys a piece I did a while back in an Art Nouveau style, it was a school project, all marker and lighter fluid.

Upon that, click on my link below, I have a few more things up at DeviantArt, including photos of my adorable dog. Thank you all, keep up the talent.

ocean i can not get enough of your art

i wish i could have them all hanging in my house!!!!!!!!!!

I was just browsing through some of Julia Margaret Cameron's photography this afternoon, and the beauty of her work made me want to try to create something of my own... Since I'm my most present, and most easily available model, this is a self portrait. I stole the bathroom mirror off of the wall, moved all of my belongings and sat myself in front of the window for natural light.
Here are the results, which I am not unhappy with.
