thats pretty good, the simpsons are cool.

Very nicely done, as expected, from the highly stylish- and stylized people here...
Here is my great masterpiece as created in paint. :D
I actually did some proper drawings as well when I visited the national gallery over the holiday break. I'll be posting them over the next while.

Both you ladies, awesome. You guys got to see Purple's examples at DeviantArt. Excellent work, I still can't get over her use of textures. Damn you woman, you're good. :flower:

And breathe0xygen, I love your style, it's just so damn clean. Do you have any color examples? Another for you.:flower:

I spent nearly an hour on this one drawing, it's a solid silver Madonna of the Immaculate Conception. The actual piece is stunning. :crush:

wyatt your stuff was so good, the only thing i caught was that you had the wrong spelling of "nonexistent"

but honestly, i can see why you make awesome t-shirts (you should to expand to doing some crazy silk screen prints with those folds and crazy embroidering)

thanks kids. and yes i am planning on going to art school.

here's a piece i just started. just sort of slopped some paint on but i don't think i'm going to mess with the figure much more. it's sort of me. sort of not. the project is on gender roles so i like the it turned out a little androgynous

IMG_4529.jpg

alright well i need to go work on it's counter piece.

oh and chapter 2 is in the workings.

this thread is totally over looked.

well here are the pieces together

IMG_4566.jpg

the figure standing is my mum. it looks more like a man from far away. i like that.

i added tag lines to them sort of like in the book. the one of my says "he wants to study fashion and...date the models." and the one of my parents sayd "she wears the pants yet...still washes the dishes"

even though they're on gender roles i figured it would be more interesting to depict everyday people and since i figured my family was a good place to look. it makes you ponder what the point is even more.
