i know...i lost it...i would put only helena,naomi,christy,tatjana,linda and karen i guess... on all covers.
especially naomi, cos she was underrated at the time.

She's been in Vogue sooo much just as much if not likely more than the few real counterparts she has. But its obvious they weren't putting many women of color on the covers,though. She's had her share though,but yes MJ she should've gotten more. Its sad really I think this hurt girls like Yasmeen,too.

Yes. Personally, I think that 91 was when the Supermodel phenomenon was at its height.

Maybe thats my favorite year,too...I never thought about it as one year. The entire thing was just too good. I just know 1988-1992 is like the time to me.

As the editor of Vogue, I'd want to see some variety on the cover each month. Therefore...

January = The Trinity (Linda, Christy, and Naomi). Starting off the year by showcasing Linda's new blonde look, and because the three of them had appeared in the "Freedom 90" video just a few months prior.
February = Helena
March = Angie Everhart, because her red-haired look was just right for spring.
April = Nadege, Karen, and Yasmin Le Bon. The spring couture issue.
May = Shana
June = Blonde Linda again.
July = Yasmeen. I picture Yasmeen in an editorial wearing a lot of swimsuits.
August = Cindy, because she had an athletic look that was appropriate for summer.
September = Red-haired Linda (She actually was on the cover that month, and it featured her famous "Scottish" editorial. I wouldn't change a thing!).
October = Claudia Mason. The Fall Couture issue.
November = Susan, because something about her look reminds me of Autumn.
December = Angelika

I do believe that September 91 US Vogue cover by Elgort is one of the most perfect covers *ever*.

And anything that includes Yasmin Le Bon is thumbs up in my book.

Now someone will just have to go to their files and make their own Vogue covers... would love to see your ideas. Does anyone have the "Vogue" font?

Yasmin had a sophisticated look -- I've always thought that she sort of resembles the Duchess of Windsor. So, I think that she would've been a perfect choice for a Vogue issue that featured clothes from the Couture collections.

And yes, can you imagine a Vogue cover featuring Shana, Susan, and Stephanie? It would be sizzling hot!

And yes please, if someone can make fake Vogue covers, please make some covers of these girls! I'd love to see what they'd look like.

Jan-Still no vision. Since we have to go on what others did,this is kinda what I would do. So Feb-December...
**Note's March is a dual cover,April will be of all 3 girls facing forward and Cindy & Claudia were switched.

Love the Cindy cover! Where did you get your Vogue title font, VickiB?

I have a formation as a graphic designer. So I use a scan from a real Vogue cover and I draw the logo "Vogue" in the software "Illustrator".

I really like doing those fake cover.

didn't nadja set a new record in 1994 or was it in 1995? a record for having 4 international vogue covers for the same month? i think it was US, UK, Italia and French or was it German editions?? any nadja experts out there that can verify this? thanks!

US Harper's Bazaar, US Vogue, UK Vogue & The Face all had her on the cover for September 1994.
