Wow..it's almost hard to imagine that models once had bodies. :) Thanks Lyle, Hipswing and Omifan for your contributions!

my pleasure!! i will post more soon:flower:

about models nowadays...right now there is so much emphasis on youth on teenage girls (is gemma still 17?) and many teenage girls who are tall have not yet filled out so you wonder if the business will let these models age and get curves?? will they still use them when they become women or abandon them? it is scary to think that this industry is saying you are in your prime when you are under 20 cause in the 90s you had many supermodels in their 20s even mid 20s reaching supermodel status

i think with gemma she will definately be allowed to age cause she has status and is at the very top, i think its important to see older women like linda, helena and eva working to give it balance, that you can still work reaching your 40s

One of the main reasons why the 90s/Super era rules:Staggering runway beauty, diversity,it was womanly, style, attitude, presence, etc. Below is just some of the awesomeness that took place between 1995-96. Miss those days when it was just right and not few & far in between. Now onto some All-Stars who showcase that. Photo Source:firstview

Got'cha Lyle,I appreciate your words;such positivity hope you understand it's kinda our pet pieve. Thanks, Omifan:flower:.

yet, omifan, although i was aware of the supermodels phenomen at that time and even used to like some of them, i wouldn't change any of them with daria. they're so stunning, but they're too superhuman to interest me. it's also a matter of values, i think, the fact i don't like the life style they used to and still embody. they're a kind of hedonistic beauty i don't like.

i agree that a lot of the nowadays models are too doll-ish, thin and anonymous, but i'm a happy victim of androginy.
