hello who remembers a vh1 special for Gianni Versace that focused a lot on Kate and Naomi? From when Naomi met with Nelson Mandela...it was about half an hour. Very amusing, I remember Naomi throwing some temper tantrum on a plane, and one of the girls (Kate?) meeting a stranger who nonchalantly bought some jewelry for them, and so Naomi (I think I'm remembering it correctly) demanded to meet him so she too could have jewelry!
Amber was also in it, it was so long ago...but it was terrific.

The angles are very Bazaar...but what a terrific pair they are! Carolyn's got her own intensity going on and Audrey always had that deerlike something about her, really soft...so it is a fabulous pairing.

I know I loved Diana too... she is amazing model… She did quite a lot in 2000s as well…

I remember that well...Naomi got everyone together(Christy,Alek,Kate,etc) for a benefit. It was "Naomi Conquers Africa" or something to this effect. And yeah Naomi had a tiff with one of the passengers b/c they were all over her while she was sleeping,taking pics and everything! The 'stranger' guy I don't think he really was...I think he was part of the crew. Anyhow,he gave Naomi a present 1st(this nice glass ornament) and she as like 'what did I do to deserve this'. But Kate was right there so she saw it. So Kate complained to her manager that she didn't get anything,thus dude came back with a present for her but it was jewelry and Naomi was like 'whaaa...I prefer jewelry',jokes!

Love Naomi and Kristen! And thank you for the info on the vh1 "Naomi Conquers Africa" and clearing it up about the jewelry..funny Kate...asking a manager to get in touch with someone that they better give her gifts. .I remember now, the people photographing her while she was sleeping and she was screaming at them, "Give me your 'effing camera!"

^Yeah,the lady had this attitude like 'yeah I was discussing you & taking your picture while you were sleep,whatta ya gonna do'! She was pissed at the time(I would've been too) but she & Kate laughed about it later on that day.
